crossover_chick | A "Dusting" of Snow

-D: You New Englanders call four inches a dusting?!-
No, that's just what the weatherman calls it. >.< It was snowing heavily until about 3:30 -- slushy, thick snow too. Ugh, I hated having to walk around campus. It was always blowing right in your eyes. And when Mom and Dad got me, everyone was going wicked slow because the roads were so bad. We encountered one accident -- two cars had smacked into each other -- and nearly got in another.
-M: O.O What happened?-
Some idiot came around a corner too fast and started sliding. He hit the curb instead of us, but it was a close call.
-M2: That's why I'm glad my truck has 4-wheel drive.-
-VuM: 4-wheel drive rocks. I'd still go slow in slushy conditions, though.-
Yeah, like us. We made it home in one piece, and it's happily not snowing now. We're actually supposed to get rain later -- hello flooding anyone?
-VD: With temperatures the way they are? Nuh-uh. More snow. I feel it.-
Good point, it's supposed to get down to 26 tonight. And this is the start of my Spring Break. *sigh*
-OD: *tentacles poke* Draw.-
Rebuild.
-OD: Rebuild what?-
. . . There's got to be something that needs rebuilding.
-OD: I could go play with your Legos. *tentacles nodnod rapidly, Tommy even manages a "squee"*
