Bella! I found Bella Goth!
-D: Okay. . . .-
*giggles* Bella Goth is one of the "grails" for Sims 2 players. She's the wife of Mortimer Goth from Pleasantview, but she disappeared and ended up as a StrangeTown townie. She's apparently very hard to find. But, she walked by my Smyth-Jones house yesterday.

-VD: Well, that's nice. Good for you. *patpat*-
Thanks. I simmed a lot yesterday, mostly thanks to the usual slow performance. First I headed over to the Smyth-Jones house in StrangeTown to get a picture of J.C. (for my crossover bios). I had Adelaide paint while J.C. messed around with the car. As it was a Saturday, I wasn't too concerned about them staying up all night. Adelaide left for work in a great mood, leaving J.C. alone. I had her take a shower so I could get my pic, then had her invite new friend River over. They' chatted, played kicky-bag, and had a pillow fight. (My Sims LOVE the new socials.) J.C. sent River home and got some sleep while Adelaide came home with a promotion to Intern. That's when Bella walked by -- Adelaide greeted her and chatted her up. Adelaide used the energizer, got more points for her next promotion, and called up Henry Hardname to get them closer to friendship status. I left them after giving Adelaide her career reward -- a dummy you operate on for mechanical skill.
-M: Nice.-
Yeah. Then it was over to visit the Hardnames for a while. I had Jim study cooking while Henry, as usual, cleaned up his mess and stargazed. Jim's social got low after some studying, so I had him and Henry interact. They chatted for a while about sports (Henry, unsuprisingly, talked about baseball :p), and made it to friends status. Henry also called up Adelaide before his job to try and get her to friends. Jim greened, took a nap, then had Mysteria over. He tried to make grilled cheese sandwiches for her, but ended up burning them. Henry came home as they exchanged jokes and such, and was introduced before he headed to bed, a new Executive Assistant. Jim and Mystie flirted and reached crush status.
-VD: *grrrr*-

-VD: Does that HAVE to mean more than one boyfriend?-
Fraid so. At least two of them are Chris Lloyd, right?
-VD: *mutter mutter*
I left them and headed over to the Love Story household, dear old Otto and Rosie. Otto seriously needed fun when he woke up, so I sent him straight to the TV. Rosie showered and ate, then set about studying and earning skills to get her grades up. Otto ate, showered, and went to class a little late. Rosie got a call from her professor Michelle Kearney, and they chatted for a while. Rosie had wants to befriend a bunch of her professors, which I found a tad weird. Otto came back, and played some chess with Debbie while Rosie headed to class. Once she came back, she and Otto played kicky bag, and became friends. Otto greened and studied while Rosie called two of her professors, Michelle and Aiyana. Before they went to bed, they flirted, and caused a crush.
In the early morning, Otto learned his last Charisma skill while Rosie greened. A personal trainer happened by and harrassed Otto for being chubby.
Shape Up!
Otto blissfully ignored her, and he and Rosie headed off for their finals happy and with high grades. They both came back with A+s, spots on the dean's list, and grants of 1,200 simoleons each. Unfortunately, Rosie had to pay the bills, reducing their gains by a few hundred. *sigh* She and Otto played some chess:

went to class, then Rosie had Aiyana over and made friends, fulfilling a want. They both got to bed late, and that's where I left them.

Yeah, it is. Luckily Otto is actually doing okay with his dormmates -- he's friends with Sharon the punk. :)
Then, because I said I would, it was over to Twin Oaks Park to play the Von Brauns. Sarah engaged in a bunch of Elias wants while I got Emily and Emmett to friend status.
Yes, another pillow fight
The kids greened and satisfied wants (Emmett getting a point in mechanical) while Elias called up headmaster Toby, having big wants to get Emily and Emmett into private school. The kids took naps before school, then headed off. Elias left for work as well. Sarah stayed home, studying cooking and using the new energizer to keep her mood up. Emmett and Emily came home and tried to satisfy wants -- Emily had a new friend over. Elias came home and used the energizer as well. The kids gave up and retired as the headmaster came. While Sarah cooked, Elias gave a tour of the house. The headmaster was very impressed.
What a place!
Lucky, too, Sarah burned her pork chops and was forced to make spaghetti. Of course, headmaster Toby was attracted to the chess set, and it took me forever to get him to actually come to dinner. Once he ate, we were up to 80/90 points. So I bought the expresso set, had Elias serve expresso, and got Toby to drink it. 10 point bonus, and the kids were in. Toby vanished (literally), Elias sold the expresso set and washed the cups, and I left.
-VuM: *whistles* Four families. That's gotta be a record with you.-
-VD: AND she got some "Curiouser and Curiouser" typed afterwards.-
heh. I wanted to build your mansion, but I think that's a day's project. More complicated than it looks, really.
