Certainly can't complain on how it went -- the to-do list is looking pretty good:

1. Clean my room and do the monthly wash: Check! Started at 10:50 AM this morning after getting my breakfast and picking a new radio station – got the dusting done by 1 PM, when we had a lunch break, then got the Swiffering and the vacuuming done after that! Combined with helping out with the laundry and waiting for my parents to finish putting in a new light in the back “hallway” (it’s like two Sims tiles wide and where the entrance to the basement and the pantry cupboard is), finished the cleaning up just after 2 PM! Laundry took longer, especially as Mom was doing her own stuff AND wallpapering the “hallway,” meaning it was harder to get downstairs, but I got that done by about 6 PM, so. . . Better than nothing!

2. Catch up on Kevin's Spider-Man 2 video and the two-part Hitman 3 video from OXBox in the Watch Later if possible: Sort of a “substitution check” – I got through the Kevin video, but did not have time for the Hitman 3 stuff – instead, I watched Gray’s latest. Hopefully tomorrow we can have OXBox fun!

A) But yes, this evening, we finally caught up on my missing Call Me Kevin video – “Spiderman 2 for the PS2 is an amazing disaster!” One and a half hours of Kevin working his way through the Spider-Man 2 game (as “Spoderman” to avoid copyright issues), full of lovely, nostalgic jank! And about two and a half more plotlines than the movie – besides all the stuff with Doc Ock, the game ALSO has Spider-Man hanging out with Black Cat (an anti-hero thief from the comics, think Spidey’s version of Catwoman) and helping her get revenge on the Shocker while debating with her if he should give up his Peter Parker persona or not (this basically takes the place of Spidey losing his powers due to double life stress in the movie), and a whole thing with Quentin Beck trying to discredit Spider-Man with a whole arena showdown, failing, becoming Mysterio and trying to steal the Statue of Liberty, trying to kill Spidey in a strange basement funhouse with weird FLAT GLITCHY FUNHOUSE MIRROR SPIDER-MEN, and then getting beaten in a fake boss fight in a flower shop in that one clip OXBox shows all the time for lame boss lists. XD In between that you can stop various crimes, do various races, and occasionally save a child’s lost balloon for “hero points,” which are necessary to proceed. Kevin, of course, either popped the balloon with his webbing, or tried to keep it for himself (and actually hung onto it for quite a while!). It’s a very goofy game, with plenty of old-school glitches, weird deformed characters (thought Tobey!Peter does rightfully always look completely depressed), completely incompetent voice acting (only Molina/his voice-alike was actually making an effort here, and even HE couldn’t be bothered to raise his voice to a decent volume – okay, no, that’s unfair; whoever was doing Quentin Beck was CLEARLY having a lot of fun with the role) and delightful ragdolling (you should have seen the way poor Doc Ock freaked out every time Spider-Man hit him in just the right way). And yes, this is the Spider-Man game everyone considered the best until the PS4 one came out. Just goes to show how far being able to web-swing around town and do cool races with tricks can carry a classic title! XD Kevin certainly seemed to have fun when he wasn’t fighting with the controls or worrying about the boss fights. And naturally he busted out his own Spidey costume to wear for the intro and outro – as he put it, seven hours of sweaty fun inside that thing! XD Good times, if long ones!

B) And then it was time for today’s GrayStillPlays – “I upgraded this porta potty too many times,” aka Gray Plays Potty Racers! This is a game about taking a port-a-potty and turning it into the ultimate racing machine – from adding simple wheels on it and making little jumps off the warm-up hill to SLAMMING ON A PAIR OF ROCKETS AND A JET ENGINE SO YOU CAN ACCELERATE PAST THE KNOWN SOLAR SYSTEM AND THROUGH THE FABRIC OF TIME AND SPACE. XD Gray proved to be VERY good at this game, sending his port-a-potties flying with little to no effort – and even accidentally finding a way to break the game and make it so you just kept going forever once you’re back on the ground! Or at least until you chose to return to the hilltop, in which case the game rewarded you with ALL OF THE MONEY. XD And then he managed to beat his best cheating record via legitimate means, which was even better. And apparently this was a whole SERIES, and you can put plane parts on your potty in later games. . .yeah, I suspect we’re gonna be seeing more of this nonsense from Gray soon enough! XD

3. Play Sims 4 and get Victor's wand and broom; send Smiler to Foxbury School Spirit Day; and have Alice do more werewolf things: Check – and woof, that was a busy day! But I did get all these to-dos done, and a few other things besides:

-->I added in some new mods! I have readded in Spinning Plumbob’s animalistic legs and tails for werewolves (meaning Alice now has a proper tail and proper legs in her werewolf form), AND put in his new “Occult Preferences” mod, which allows your Sims to like or dislike various occults (plus ordinary humans). Alice, Victor, and Smiler all Like Vampires, Werewolves, Spellcasters, and Humans, while Victor and Smiler also like Ghosts. :) And to facilitate all these new likes and dislikes, I also put in Zerbu’s “Unlimited Likes and Dislikes” mod, which raises the limit to 100,000 so you’re basically set no matter how many new preference mods you add. :p Which is good, because I HAVE had my eye on “Preferences Plus” by helenae for a while. . .

-->As regards to my actual gameplay, once I’d gotten my mods all set up and whatnot and allowed the game to patch again, I started up the Valicer family and got to work! Mainly, I got to work getting Alice to fix the kitchen sink, which I hadn’t realized was broken, and getting Smiler to finish editing their term paper so they could submit it. Also getting Victor to try and get some sleep, the poor bastard – he kept getting woken up by random noises and the like. Once everyone was fed, watered (including the chickens – Alice’s turn to feed them and collect the eggs!), and sufficiently energized, though, it was time to start on my goals. . .

-->Get Victor’s wand and broom – And so it was time for Victor to head off to the Magic Realm to make some purchases! Though I decided I might as well have him search the HQ’s bookshelves for tomes while he was there – didn’t find any books, but he did find an Orb of the The Veild familiar! This is actually super-rare and worth $777 – I plan for Victor to have a dragon familiar, so I don’t know if I’ll keep this, but it’s good money if nothing else! He also really had to go to the bathroom, so I reluctantly let him use the pranked toilet on the first floor. Naturally, the damn thing broke once he’d relieved himself – I had him wash up, then figured “might as well try Repairio, right? Gotta practice that magic!”

Failure. Victor set the toilet on fire. I had him put it out (amazed he hadn’t developed a damn fear of fire yet), got him situated, then tried again because I had no other method of fixing the toilet now.

ANOTHER FAILURE. TOILET ON FIRE AGAIN. And to add insult to damn injury, Victor picked up the Curse of Uncontrollable Charge thanks to failing his one spell one too many times! *facepalm* That combined with the fact that School Spirit Day had started over on Foxbury meant that I decided Victor really needed to get what he came here for and head home (after, you know, putting the fire out AGAIN). I sent him straight down to Caster’s Alley and hit up the wand shop and the broom shop – wand shop had a nice bone wand, which I figured suited Victor nicely, and the broom shop a classic wood broom with pink bristles – as the only other option was the magical mop, I decided to go with the broom. Set Victor to use both and then had him travel home to take another nap.

-->Send Smiler to Foxbury School Spirit Day – This had the weird side effect of having Alice come home early from work. O.o She didn’t seem to be penalized, and I had no option to send her BACK, so I just ran with it and had her work on some paintings while Victor napped and Smiler got changed and headed out to School Spirit Day! And I’m pleased to announce they had a very successful one – they started three school cheers to general acclaim; gave everyone a happiness boost; played juice pong with visiting celebrity and temporary student Brytani Cho (and lost, sadly); took some selfies with the mascot; and met up with their buddy Jeff, chatted about some of their new preferences (Spinning Plumbob added in a bunch of new social interactions along with the preferences!), and got him to willingly donate some plasma as the event ended, yay. :)

But, as I wanted to keep working on Smiler’s leveling up their Spirit Squad rank, I decided that I had to get them to complete all current tasks – so it was over to Britechester to prank their statue and their stadium! Though Smiler had to actually clean up the statue before they could prank it, hilariously – traded toilet paper for a yarnbomb. XD And they actually really didn’t do anything new to the stadium, which already had the Foxbury banners on it – Smiler just had to take those off and then put them back up again. XD With all of their tasks sporting a nice golden tick, Smiler headed home and settled into the bath for a nice muscle-relaxing soak. :p

-->Have Alice do more werewolf things – Which meant the evening was for Alice to werewolf out a bit! After Smiler gave her a playful boost so she could finish her current picture (not a masterpiece, but it looked so cool I kept it for the house). She changed into her werewolf form, and I had her howl, scavenge the ground, and – well. I got her the “Mark Territory” ability, so she did that too. XD Didn’t yield a lot of experience, but she’s getting there, and it was nice to see her in her werewolf form, anyway!

As she prowled around in her werewolf guise, Smiler did some karaoke (may as well USE their giant machine), then started their presentation for their other psychology class upstairs, while Victor cleaned the chicken coop before going to tend the garden (weeding, watering, fertilizing the plasma tree and getting it up to Nice quality, and bonding with his bees and collecting more beeswax and honey). We also had some people over – Caleb and Felipe Sisson both swung by for a bit! Caleb ended up freaked out by the specters and leaving, but Felipe stayed long enough to meet and become instant good friends with Smiler. XD Alice took a break from scavenging the ground to pour some wine for a particularly troublesome spirit, who accepted the gift and left her a bizarre idol in return (that’ll be helpful for when Temperance shows up), while Victor moved on from gardening to fixing all the stuff around the farm – namely, one broken water collector and two broken turbines! He was doing so well, I figured I’d let him try his hand at “Repairio” once more for the final broken turbine –

Yeah. Fire. Who is surprised. Victor and Smiler got it out, and Smiler just paid to have the damn thing replaced. *facepalm* Next time, I think Victor’s gonna have to put some serious effort into practicing his magic so he’s not doing this CONSTANTLY.

4. Continue writing "As Long As You Love Me": Check – did this between beanbags and my shower! Victor’s just had an argument with himself about how he really feels about Barkis’s death (not that bad at all, frankly) and now he’s slowly realizing that maybe he shouldn’t have come back to his parents, he should have stayed with Alice, not only because that seems to be the universe’s plan for them, but also because he loves her. . .and he’s basically feeling VERY mixed up at the moment, poor guy. He’s just about to ask for a sign, just one sign that the universe wants him to go after Alice. . .guess which one he gets. :p Hint – it’s in the title of the fic!

Additionally:

-->We did indeed play beanbags today – very nice, fall-like weather – but unfortunately I didn’t have a great game, unlike the rest of the week. Dad was on fire, getting sevens and tens all over the place – fortunately, he faltered in the third and fourth games, allowing me and Mom to sneak in a win each (though my win was also partially bad luck on Mom’s part – she accidentally partially blocked the hole with one beanbag, then got another beanbag stuck against it on what would have been the winning throw). Final scores were me 3-3-W-3-2; Dad W-W-3-2-W; Mom 2-2-2-W-3. Hey, at least we all won once!

*nods* All good stuff, even if I wasn't able to get in the OXBox double feature. And now I am juggling the social thing with getting the pictures ready for the next Chill Save update (Alice getting the chomp from Roxy and finally becoming a werewolf, if you're curious). Let's get the next to-do list sorted and hit the trail, so to speak:

1. Keep up with the FO4 Playthrough Progression

2. Keep up with YouTube Subs, the OXBox Hitman 3 double feature, and Jon's latest Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel video

3. Play Fallout 4 and hit Pickman's Gallery before heading back to County Crossing

4. Work on tumblr drafts

5. Get in a workout

Hopefully all doable -- we will see tomorrow! In the meantime, night all!
