You are Cordially Invited

I pulled off their wedding with only one hitch -- Marty and Clara's friend Christy got involved with the chessboard, so only Seamus watched the festivities.
-M: What?!-
-M2: Okay, I expect better of my Simself. *beat* I cannot believe I just said that.-
-D: *patpat* Hey, as long as everyone had a good time. And at least he was there, unlike in the real trilogy.-
True, true. And you guys got Roof-Raiser for your wedding, which was great.
We started out on a Thursday. It was a work day for Clara and Doc. I discovered that Clara came home at the same time as the school bus now, so I could technically dismiss the nanny. Verne still wants to befriend her though, so she'll stay for now. Clara brought home her pal Christy, and they played kicky-bag for a while. Doc came home and invited Marty over. Marty brought along George, who watched cartoons with Verne while Doc and Marty strengthened their friendship:

-VM: Nothing like a good tickle.-
-VD2: *promptly tickles him*-
-VM: *laughs*-
Anyway, I also bought a mirror so Doc and Clara could practice Charisma and get easy Aspiration points. I noticed Doc had earned a vacation day, so I decided to use it and get them a party. I also came up with a plan -- to start the party right before Jules and Verne left for school. I figured that provided me with a large enough window to get Clara and Doc home from their honeymoon in time.
Friday, I outfitted the front lawn with party stuff, then had Doc serve toaster pastries. After letting him gain another Charisma point, I had him call up Seamus and Marty McFly, and rented a dresser so he and Clara could go formal. Clara had her friend Christy over, and I set about socializing.

The happy couple was also toasted twice, and they obligingly kissed after each.

After a bathroom break and Seamus raiding the fridge for chips (o.O), I had Doc and Clara head for the arch.

Then it was back to socializing, and a quick cake-cut.

The party ended as a Roof Raiser, and Doc and Clara happily went on their honeymoon. The kids came home with A+s and watched cartoons while Doc and Clara took advantage of their good moods to gather skills.

Then, while the kids snoozed, Clara and Doc got better acquainted ;)

I hit "try for baby." Didn't hear the musical tone, but I could have missed it. We'll see the next time I play them.
-D: Ahh, woo-hoo.-
-VD2: That's nice. Now watch Clara have twins.-
Lol, that would be interesting. *pause* Actually, I think I have twins in the works for TrilogyDoc and Clara -- twin girls. Martina Marie and Johanna Jennifer.
-VD: O.o Let's hope for twins then.-
-AJ: Gonna play Twin Oaks Park tomorrow?-
Yeah, I think I am. Emily will be throwing a party as well -- a sort of going away party before college. :D Parties are fun.

Hooray!
I like the names you've picked out for the twins, fingers crossed that you'll get them...
Ah...I want to play my Simmies too...
