Woo! College at Last!

crossover_chickEmily Von Braun has the distinct honor of being the first teenage Sim I have sent to college from home. She has all her college skills for her major -- Art -- and a nice, if empty, house. Holly will be moving in with her shortly, as will Emmett.

*snrrrk* I take it you've seen the latest plot bunny.
-DW: That and you've been going over the archives of that one a lot lately. What happened to Sluggy Freelance?-
CRFH is the mood I'm in lately. I can see Emily and Holly torturing you a little. Although, I will admit -- kinda weird to think of you without Marty.
-M: You can fix that when you revise Teen Doc.-
Heh, true. I will admit to being a little freaked out at first, though. I moved Emily into the house -- but when the screen came up, there was no control panel. I was confused, but I was certain it would pop up eventually -- it does this to me at community lots sometimes. Sure enough, after Emily came up in the cab and age-transitioned, the Control Panel popped on. I had her use her meager funds to buy a telescope, an armchair, and a bookcase. Emmett will be providing the rest -- including possibly a bit of house remodeling, the area I have for the bedroom seems rather small. Oh well, I'll make it work. *snicker* Don't ask me -- that's what the game chose. I'll have her buy some new clothes once Emmett arrives -- I'll probably hate what he transtions into.
The House (I bought the aforementioned items after I took this snapshot)
-M: Hey, it comes with kitchen and bath included. That's nice.-
Yup. I simply redid the colors to match the new wallpaper. I might have to add on a second bathroom, there are going to be three people living in there. . . .
-VD: At least a water closet with a toilet.-
Hey, there you go, a half-bath.
-OD: *tentacles poke* Either write "Eight Arms to Hold You" or finish the picture.-
