crossover_chickWell, this is good news! Since my last day of finals is this Wednesday, my parents and I have started the job search again. I recently applied at the local dry cleaners down the street from my house (I can literally walk there) --
And they called me back today, asking me to come in tomorrow! *biggrin* Whoo! I think I might be employed soon!

Yeah, I hope I get this job. It would be 9-1 weekdays (and probably Saturday), which means I'd have plenty of free time and Sundays off. Definitely sounds good to me.
-J: The only problem is, you'd be earning minimum wage.-
It's something, right? If that doesn't work out, though, I have a few back-ups -- the local Shaws is hiring, as well as Job Lot -- both also walkable, if farther away. CVS is hiring too, but the hours suck, so that's a last resort.

In other news, Holly and Emmett have joined Emily at Academie Le Tour. They're all friends, all have their majors picked out, and have a halfway decent house.
Three Friends Doc does need new clothes, though.
-VD2: Ugh, dull brown. I hate that. I like bright colors.-

The House That should hold them over for now -- I'll be buying more and better things as they get college grants. The yellow bed is Emmett's, the blue Holly's, the pink Emily's.
