Not just because the weather is gradually getting cooler (though today was actually pretty decently warm), but because it wasn't a particularly busy or stressful day -- which I do appreciate, given it was my last day of work before my little four-day weekend. :) Let me bring you up to speed --

Work – Today was all about checking out people with failed credit card payments and seeing who needed a mailed reminder, and calling people whom we’d sent an invite to an event earlier and who hadn’t responded and thus needed a verbal reminder. *shrug* Made the day go by, that’s for sure! And now I don’t have to deal with any of it for four whole days, yaaaaay~

To-Do List

1. Get in a workout: Check – back on the bike, and back with James Turner and his videos –

A) Finishing “Breanne's studio is very successful! High School Years (Part 46)!” After determining that Kirk is apparently no longer Breanne’s roommate (possibly – James also couldn’t find the option to make him her roommate again, so maybe he’s in some sort of weird in-between state because of the move), James spent the rest of the episode finishing off Breanne’s latest gig with the style influencer (with the influencer informing her ONCE AGAIN that she could do better – but then Breanne got $14K on what was advertised as an $8K job, so I don’t think these influencers actually know what they’re talking about); deciding to get Breanne into rock-climbing so he could eventually climb Mt. Komorebi and get a cool picture up there (to the point of putting in a new gym from the Gallery with a whole section dedicated to rock climbing – Breanne is slowly but surely getting there!); and having Breanne meet new people and get lots more cool pictures for her photo wall (it’s quite impressive!). :D He also had her explore a flirtation with Rose, the married lady who apparently had a thing for her in the Salty Paws Saloon – however, it was a bit of a rocky ride. Breanne invited Rose over with her new BFF Kenji to get to know her better over a dinner of fish tacos – only to learn too late that Rose is a vegetarian; Rose came over randomly to hang out after one of Breanne’s photo shoots, while Breanne was having an impromptu family reunion with Addison and Kevin, but while she consented to do some photos with Kevin no sparks really flew during their chat; Breanne and Rose ended up going out on a gold-level date to the Planet Honeypop! karaoke bar, but not only did James have to pause to fix the issue of the interior of the bar technically being “outside” (this thing was built back when you could only FAKE platforms and the game didn’t have weather, and thus visiting it during a snowy day led to there being snow all over the floor), they spent most of it chatting as just friends – and while Breanne poured on the heartfelt romance, Rose didn’t really reciprocate with any romantic interactions of her own; and at the end of the episode Rose invited Breanne to the Humor & Hijinks festival, only to ignore her for most of the night before slapping her silly because they were both Pranksters. James is like “I don’t think THIS potential relationship is going to work out either. . .” XD So yeah – Breanne is at least in a good place financially with her gigs, and she’s starting to grow her celebrity with her photos, but the romance thing isn’t really working out. We’ll see if that changes in the last few episodes of her series! I mean, the final thumbnail REALLY makes it look like she eventually gets together with Kirk, but. . . *shrug*

B) Starting “The next generation of Bigwallet's! Dine Out (Part 7)!” Like, just the first couple of minutes, but that was enough for me to meet the first of Addison and Hilary’s children, Quinn! Who was born off-screen because James realized midway through recording Breanne’s episode above that he’d left Hilary in labor the last time he recorded THEIR series, and he forgot that pregnant Sims are gonna give birth whether you’re there or not. XD At least that confirmed that I was watching these episodes in the right order! Anyway, left it off with James using what money the two had to quickly get their bedroom together in their kind-of-finished house – we’ll see where this all goes tomorrow! Because if the thumbnail is to be believed, James is going to get Hilary pregnant again right away to make up for missing Quinn’s birth. . .

2. Continue writing “Londerland Bloodlines: Downtown Queensland”: Check – Alice has crawled out of Pisha’s lair, found the “Haunted LA” business card (and been like “what the hell, this guy ALSO lives in my apartment building?!”), and made her way to Strauss to tell him about Pisha and get the skinny on what she is (a Nagaraja, another bloodline of vampires created by magic – specifically, by the Idran sect of Indian death-mages who were already turning themselves into liches in the search for eternal life and made a few of their members into Nagaraja by using stolen Setite blood (as they were fighting that clan to keep them away from the underworld – the World of Darkness is a WEIRD place)). Strauss is NATURALLY a bit concerned about having this flesh-eater in the city! Alice is just going to confirm with him that no, she did not technically need to slaughter the entire camera crew, and then he’s going to call up LaCroix and tell him what’s going on. Don’t worry, Alice – soon enough you’ll have your permission to destroy a bitch!

3. Keep up with YouTube Subs: Check with a TINY bonus – I had INTENDED to do a full-on OXBoxtra marathon of the list videos they uploaded this week, but I was dealing with throttled internet tonight, and I decided I wasn’t in the mood for fighting with YouTube to watch the longer videos in a quality that was better than “potato.” Fortunately, today being Thursday means I didn’t miss out on anything major from Gray – instead, I had the following –

A) The shortest of my OXBoxtra set, “Resident Evil 4 Ada DLC New Gameplay: 5 Reasons Leon’s Secret Crush Ada Wong Rules All,” an Andy-only voiceover video going over the reasons Ada is cool and how the new DLC “Separate Ways” proves that. (Though he did make sure to mention that the ORIGINAL game included “Separate Ways” as an unlockable game mode you opened up after beating the game once, and that this new version is paid DLC because capitalistic hellscape.) Reasons Ada is cool, actually, include her ability to spin-kick enemies (her version of Leon’s signature wrestling moves); her ability to traverse the levels quickly with her grappling hook (which doubles as an easy way to yank herself toward enemies to spin-kick them); her ability to also shoot blue medallions for the Merchant (Andy tried to spin this as “okay, the Merchant likes her enough to sell to her,” but we all know he just loves shooting blue medallions for the Merchant); her ability to have different guns than Leon (including her own unique shotgun and explosive-arrow-firing crossbow); and her ability to save Leon’s rear end (she is in fact the one who rang the church bell in the opening fight in the village, saving Leon from the villager’s assault, for example). I don’t know if any of these reasons will be enough to sway anyone who is very much NOT a fan of Ada (like my friend Squid) into liking her, but they should all be good enough reasons to play the DLC! Here’s hoping we get a LP from the OXBox gang. . .

B) And a VERY short Josh Way video from my Subs – “12 Voice Impressions in One Minute!” Which featured Josh doing a bunch of impressions of various characters, from Pooh to Mickey, from Kermit to Popeye, and from Pee-Wee Herman to – Irvin Kershner, the director of The Empire Strikes Back. O.o I would love to know how that ended up on your list, Josh. But he did excellent impressions of all of them, making Mickey giggle about how the unions are starting to crack and Emperor Palpatine gleefully comment on how, if struck down, he would “return somehow.” XD (Oh, and if you’re wondering how bad my internet was tonight concerning the YouTubes – I had to pause MULTIPLE TIMES during a one-minute-long video to get it to load in 1080p. *sigh* Cox, what the FUCK.)

4. Get my tumblr queues sorted: Check – didn’t have to do anything with Victor Luvs Alice tonight, and Valice Multiverse just had one ask reply (about how the werewolf in Griffith Park is in fact one of the WEAKER examples of a werewolf – Alice is just grateful she didn’t have to fight anything stronger), so it was an easy night. And the horrible YouTube shenanigans from before had an unexpected upside in that I was able to start on answering Moose’s messages earlier and FINALLY get those done, yay! :) So that’s off my plate, w00~

And that is that! And I am now going to relax for a while with TV Tropes before heading to bed. :p Tomorrow, plans include working on some tumblr drafts OTHER than the latest Chill Valicer Save update for a change (though I DO want to get the pictures sorted for the next one if I can); putting my mods and CC back into my Sims 4 and visiting the Valicer trio again; writing some more "Home Sweet Lair;" and keeping up with GrayStillPlays -- and hopefully catching up on the OXBoxtra stuff I couldnt watch tonight because of the internet being an ass! Think that should all be doable -- night all!
