Working For a Livin'

crossover_chickIt was DEAD today at work. Absolutely DEAD. I don't even see why he called me in, there really wasn't that much to do. Oh well, I'll get paid for my time at least. I hate losing part of my Saturday though. :(
-D: Well, you'll just have to deal with it. Giving up things is what work entails.-

-M: *grin* Good thing we'll never have to go.-

-DW: *comes out of shower* I think I've finally got most of that dye out. *shows off pinkish hair*-
-J: *giggle* You look kinda punk-rockish.-
-DW: *rolls eyes*-
It was off to the Von Braun Household today. It was pretty quiet -- Emily's been calling up her old friends to reestablish daily with them, and Holly called up Virginia and made friends with her. Emmett started on his term paper, Emily called Sabastian, Emmett called his mom, John called Holly. College is very social.
-M: I'll say.-
Then, right after dinner:
Holly was abducted by the Secret Society! :D They took her to this very cool castle lot, Vulvafont Society I think:
Now that's a secret society!
-VD: I wouldn't mind living there.-
hehe. Holly got the official uniform, and spent a few hours getting to know Nery more (Virginia wasn't there). She also played a little with the camera career reward.
I wanted her to feed the cowplant, but she couldn't get to it. *shrug* Next time.
After a good night's sleep, I decided to try something a little different with Emmett:
-DW: O.o-
-M2: *snrrrk*-
-D: *look*-
Hey, you look good with red hair! And it was only a temporary dye job. The guys went about their business -- Holly writing her term paper, Emmett working on an assignment, and Emily whipping up some fresh chef's salad:
Holly finished her term paper, which was good -- she's now at the front of the line for taking her exam, and they're now in a three hour pattern (Holly is 3 hours ahead of Emily, whose 3 hours ahead of Emmett). It's actually pretty nice -- they each came back as the others were leaving. I also had them all meditate for a while before going to their exams, when their sats were at their best.
They all got their usual A+s, although Emily missed half of her class because of a class/exam conflict. Oh well. I had her start on her term paper because her stats were good, and started skilling Holly for her last classes. Emmett went back to his natural blond look and started an assignment, and that's where I saved.
-D: So Holly's in the secret society. Good for her.-
Yup. And Emily shall be joining the Mortes Greek House -- she should be a shoe-in.
-VD: We seem to be more of a spectator than anything else in our college years.-
You're going to have an alien kid later in life. You deserve to sit back and watch the show right now. I might try to get you into one or the other, though.
Tired now, and have to ward off pokings by MiniDamosCrawler, so later all.
