crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)

After another broiling day at work, my parents and I had a picnic lunch at one of our local beaches (we live near three). Nice and cool (and windy), although the backs of my shoulders got kinda sunburned. >.< Damn, I was sure I was out of the sun enough. . . .
-D: Does it hurt?-
Not really -- just sorta stings a little. Nothing too major. Being at the beach makes me sleepy, though. Dunno why.

Anyway, visited Strangetown today and played the Browns (also the Curious brothers for the sole purpose of making Pascal friends with George again). It was a pretty quiet day for the most part -- after everyone had breakfast and Marty headed off to school, I decided to let Doc indulge some Mysteria wants. Mystie asked to bring a friend -- luckily it was Gypsy, and not a romantic interest.

Doc flirted with and kissed Mystie while George and Lorraine fulfilled wants with Eileen. A friend of theirs, Holly, wandered by, so I had Lorraine go out and greet her for a game of red hands and a hug. Doc sent Mystie home and shared some jokes and a hug with Gypsy before sending her away too.
Meanwhile, I was having some Eileen issues. The poor girl was extremely tired, to the point of passing out on the floor:

And why was she passing out on the floor? BECAUSE MY STUPID SIMS WOULD NOT LISTEN TO MY INSTRUCTION TO PUT HER IN THE CRIB! I finally got her in the crib by making sure everyone else was occupied with something else and forcing Lorraine to do it.
Marty came home with River, whom he promptly sent away. I had George and Lorraine charge up via Energizer, and Doc and Lorraine take the day off work -- I wanted the family to be around when Eileen made her transition. As it was pretty hetic anyway (I REALLY need to do something with their house), and nobody had the want, she grew up without benefit of birthday party.
-M: Awww, too bad.-
Yeah, I could have used a party to have you connect with friends. Well, anyway, you got a call from J.C., then as I was getting everyone else situated, Eileen grew up well:

She's not classically beautiful, but she's not that ugly either -- she has George's nose with Lorraine's cheeks. Her first wants were buy a toy, make a friend, gain a skill point, and one other. So I remodeled her room, updated everyone's beds, and gave her the dollhouse and the toy oven.

-M2: Hooray for better beds.-
Heh, yeah, I figured you guys needed an upgrade. I decided that Eileen should study cleaning for her next skill -- after all, she's 10 Neat (and I haven't a clue where that came from). I'm pretty satisfied with her Neat, Playful, and Nice Stats -- could use some work on Outgoing and Active (she got the worst of both from Lazy Lorraine and Shy George). I might try to encourage her up to five in both of those. Here she is learning cleaning (and showing off her super-neat bubbles):

My last acts of the night were to have Marty call his friend Kendal on his cell, and to send Doc out for groceries (the fridge was almost empty). Hopefully now that Eileen's a kid, things will be smoother in that house. (Also now that she's a kid, I can send Marty off to college.) Tomorrow I'll probably either do more of Donald, or try to catch up the Mortes to their proper place.
