Adventures in Twin Oaks Park
Jun. 18th, 2005 10:25 pm-M: As usual.-
-J: What is it with you and that neighborhood?-
It's fun! Plus I think I have an additional little idea for it.
-VD: What now?-
Well, you know how they're adding vampires to Nightlife? I've decided that Emmett's son/daughter is going to start a household of supernaturals. There'll be the alien Von Braun, a zombie, a vampire, and a ghost.
-VD: I do admit, that sounds interesting.-
Yeah, that's why I'm doing it. :p
Played both the Robinsons and the Von Brauns today. I played the Robinsons through Friday, to grow Gypsy up to a kid. Wednesday was basically an earning skills day -- Marie pottytrained Gypsy, Daniel earned more cooking skill, and Daniel taught Gypsy how to talk.

Not only that, but Daniel made best friends with Gypsy while playing with her rabbit, and Marie brought Jill Wooster home and befriended her.
-D: O.o *muttergrumble*-
*shrug* She needs friends to advance.

As Marie hadn't been spending much time with Gypsy, I had her wake her up on Thursday -- they made best friends as well.

They interacte for a bit before Marie had to head off to work. Daniel had Jandaly Sapson over and managed to befriend her. Marie brought home Trista Shaw, chatted her up, then set about greening. (Law Enforcement is KILLER on motives.) Gypsy ate, slept, and earned new skills. Friday morning, I had them all green, had Marie call Trista to try and make friends, then sent her off with a new body point (gotten early that morning) and a good mood. Jandaly called Daniel to chat, then Daniel put Gypsy down so she'd be ready to grow up just as soon as her Mom got home. Marie came home with a promotion to Patrol officer -- good thing, because we need the cash. After a few greening activities (including the purchase of an Energizer), I had Gypsy grow up via cake.

Now, I know I said she looked homely before, but honestly, now that I look at her, she doesn't look all that bad -- her cheeks are just a little too big.

After finishing up her greening, I had her study cooking. Luckily the smart milk effect stuck with her, and she was able to add four cooking points to her four charisma, logic, and creativity points. :D This kid should be a skill-building machine.

-D: *grin* Aww, she looks like a little mad scientist.-
Heh, that she does. :p I also got Marie and Daniel to try for baby -- success! So Gypsy should be getting a new baby sister soon, April. Not for a bit, though -- I want Emmett to meet her as a child to set up a storyline.
-VD2: What, a kidhood crush?-
*grin*
The Von Brauns, at Academie Le Tour, did their band gig at King's Music Hall, dressed in their formal wear:

I admit, I was kinda surprised to see that Emmett had gotten the pink tux.
-D: *groan*-
Heh. You guys made 1,100 simoleons in tips, though -- considering Emmett and Emily have maxed creativity, I'm not surprised. For full details, visit

Okay, gotta write and edit now.
