And A Late Tuesday As Well

crossover_chickConcentration is a bit hard at the moment, but we endure. :p Anyway, here's how my day went --
Work – A very quiet Tuesday – talky coworker was out, and the phones were more or less dead today, meaning me and my coworker were pretty much doing roster maintenance all day. I started with some obituaries, then moved onto one of the parish lists to review for any changes/deletions. Not exactly scintillating work, but it’s gotta be done. *shrug* We’ll see what tomorrow brings!
To-Do List –
1. Get in a workout: Check – back on the bike, and back with the GrayStillPlays compilation “100 Cars vs Impossible Odds!” I finished the “U-Turn” challenge video (I was correct about Gray needing to do it with the RC car, but I’d forgotten that the BIG car he needed to get the RC car to the final challenge was the Deluxo, aka the Discount DeLorean – nice), and I’m a decent chunk of the way through the “Infinite Loops” challenge (where Gray not only had a number of ridiculous loop challenges to complete, including a loop that went invisible periodically and a loop of wooden assets with a naughty name, but also had to leap into the “lucky loop” and randomly get put inside a vehicle that he could then test against the loops – he’s gone through such nonsense as a tank, a backwards-trike car, a futuristic motorcycle, and some Off-Brand Power Wheels, and I left it with him in the bumper car getting ready to see what it could do). Looking forward to seeing again what wins this challenge, and the ones after it!
2. Continue editing “Londerland Bloodlines: Downtown Queensland”: Check – Alice has managed to abscond with the briefcase Fat Larry was after, thanks to the Operators pulling off their half of the mutual double-cross and distracting the other Tong from the one guy who spotted her! Allowing her to knock him over and feed on him (after confirming he hadn’t been in Downtown long and thus wasn’t a major infection risk). She left him behind a little light-headed and convinced she was working on behalf of a “Tony,” and managed to sneak around all the growing Operator/Tong skirmishes on her way out of there with the help of her Darkened Looking Glass. She just has to finish the climb back up to the top now and get the briefcase back to Fat Larry – I think we can accomplish that tomorrow!
3. Keep up with YouTube Subs: Check – a GrayStillPlays-only Tuesday today, featuring “I made dating 1000x more dangerous,” aka Gray plays Impossible Date 2! One of those puzzle games that involves things like popping a woman’s pregnant belly with a dart to reveal she had a balloon stuffed under her dress! Or erasing a stool from under a woman reaching for a book so she’ll fall into the arms of the guy creepily watching her from behind! Or saving a woman from being deceived by a bald man in a toupee by blowing away said toupee with the power of writing “SATAN” (which the game transmogrified into a fan blade as it was vaguely near the ceiling fan)! Or saving a horseman and a lambwoman from falling to their deaths in gliders by giving her the horseman’s underwear to use as a parachute! And then saving them from a fall over a waterfall by using his pants as a parachute (don’t worry, he had his emergency underwear on underneath)! Or using an X-Ray machine to confirm that a dude in a coffin was NOT dead at his own funeral! Or raising the volume on an unsafe sound set-up so the guy dancing under it would be crushed underneath it when it shook apart! Or getting a guy to bust a ghost via connecting his proton pack to the wall socket with a poorly written “Aaaaaah” and a poorly-drawn slice of pepperoni-and-mushroom pizza! Or returning to horseman and lambwoman and have him try to get her attention when she was dancing at the club with a giraffe via eating a chili pepper, which made him fart fire, fly around, hit the disco ball and knock it on the giraffe’s head, get rejected by the lambwoman, and finally thrown in a box and kicked out (literally) by the bull bouncer. With a VERY interesting-looking visual glitch on the lambwoman’s face on the ending screen. ...Yeah, this one was a fucking WEIRD game, man. Like one of the most incoherent weird-ass puzzle games Gray’s ever played, and he’s played a LOT of them. At least it was fun to watch him get as confused by the tomfoolery as we were!
4. Get my tumblr queues sorted: Check and check –
Victor Luvs Alice – Got all five posts for the Chill Valicer Save update (Valicer Anniversary Spookfest Group Date edition) into the queue for tomorrow! I also worked some more on the VITD Special Abilities II post – it’s still not QUITE done, but it’s a lot closer to done than it was before. We’ll see if maybe I can finish it off tomorrow for posting on Thursday!
Valice Multiverse – Had an ask from Toonsisters sharing a piece of forbidden Victor/Barkis fanart (that I saw ages ago on devART), which made Forgotten Vows!Victor go “technically well done but it also makes me scream inside” – and an announcement from Brynlee Marie, one of my regular partners, declaring she’s going on indefinite hiatus because the focus on making your blog as “aesthetic” as possible has basically ruined tumblr RP for her. :( Which sucks, but I was already figuring she wasn’t really into it anymore given her lack of activity (she’s got a work-from-home job now too, which is probably not helping). I left her a reply with some sympathies and hope that the job is going well and she finds a better place to hang. *shrug* I’ll just keep hiding in my corner taking the weird-ass asks as they come!
And there we have it! And now I really should head to bed so I can get some sleep. Still got three more days to go, after all! Night all!
