Beach or Movie?
Aug. 30th, 2004 10:53 amThat's the choice today. It's pretty cloudy, so Mom wants to see if there's anything in the theaters that we'd like to see. I honestly can't think of anything off the top of my head, but if "I Robot" is still playing, I'll watch that.
-D: Ah, Isaac Asimov. Great writer.-
Don't doubt it, but from what I've heard, the movie isn't anything like the book/story. They're also making another "Around the World in 80 Days," you might like that Dockies.
-VD: I don't know. I'm such a fan of Jules Verne's books, that -- well--
-VD2: It might be like you complaining about the Harry Potter movies.-
Fair enough. Let's just hope the guy who made "Around the World" read the book. The director of Prisoner of Azkaban hadn't even done that much until he was asked to do the third one. *annoyed* Ask somebody who's read them, for Newton's sake!
-VD: Speaking of stories, how's "Judgement Day" and "World of Light?"-
I'm a tad concerned about "Judgement Day." I've noticed that I have fewer and shorter chapters. Nothing wrong with fewer chapters, that just seems to be the way I'm evolving in my writing, but I'd really like to punch up what I've got. Was able to add some information from the Part III novel -- a sort-of "throw-away" line came in handy.
-VD2: And "World of Light?"-
I'll pass it around, see what everyone thinks.
-VD2: Good.-
