I swear, I'll finish the album tomorrow

I'm just struggling on doing a backfire or not.
-VD: Do what you normally do. Success, then backfire.-
Can't do that. The spell happens to be permanent. After I cast it successfully, there won't be a cat to cast it on anymore. How do I show a hide backfire, anyway?
-VD: Oh. Well, I don't think anyone will yell. You couldn't show the backfire for Get Happy either.-
That's because the stupid spell wouldn't backfire. Aw well, I'll do the success. Then I'll finally be able to wrap this up.
-J: How are they doing life-wise?-
You lost a half-star by natural means -- failed model walk.
-J: Dang.-
You did win a silver figure, though. Safely put away in your mini-room.
-VJ: Hey, cool. And Marty?-
Marty's not a superstar yet, but he's so close he can taste it. One of his friends went up a half-star, so he has all the elements. A successful video shoot would probably give him Superstar status, but I hate those things. . . . It'll wreck his fame if he doesn't do it right. *sigh*
Speaking of fame, I saw a funny thing today. After Marty and Jennifer did their stints in Studio Town, I had VampDoch head out on a date with Madison. I fixed Snackwell Beach, so they headed down, played Whack-A-Will, had hotdogs and ice cream, swam, and had fun. Marty was downtown the same time they were, and that meant so was the Obsessed Fan. Marty went for a swim while they were swimming, and the Obsessed Fan dived into the pool and went for a swim too!
-M: Anything to be close to me, huh?-
