Yup, played Sims today. :) The Strangetown Lloyds, because I wanted to play them. I started off right where I crashed the last time. Early Sunday morning, Josie learned how to make Mac and Cheese, satisfying a want. She didn't get to eat it, though -- she wasn't hungry, so I let Gypsy have it when she woke up. After Mystie came home and got some sleep, she invited her lover Weldon over to satisfy some wants. Josie had Doc over as well -- he brought River Smith. Mystie engaged in some light love play with Weldon while Josie and Gypsy took turns chatting with River and Doc. Gypsy eventually went back to bed, and Josie got busy cleaning. I decided "what the hell" and let Doc and Mysteria fall into love on a flirt. Mysteria promptly got a want of having three loves at once -- I promptly locked that.
-VD: Is Mystie going to break my heart?-
Nope. You'll never discover her other lovers during your affair together.
-VD: Good, I don't like thinking of my Mystie like that.-
*petpet* I know. Although you're actually not going to be much better -- I plan to have you romance all three Lloyds and Clara. One at a time, of course (unless I get adventurous).
-D: Don't get adventurous. I've seen Sim jealousy!-
True. Anyway, Mystie and Doc shared a romantic kiss before he left, and Josie called River to up their relationship -- the girls needed another friend so Mysteria could get a promotion. Monday, I bought a piano for Mystie -- she'd been getting a bunch of wants, so I wanted to keep her in platinum mood. Josie grabbed a promotion to Counter Intelligence, which helped pay for the piano, then had River over to fulfill a want. Mysteria also called her friend Jenny to up their daily a little. While she greened, I had Josie play chess with River. They eventually made friends, allowing Mysteria to get her promotion. Gypsy, however, got hers first by staying in a good mood all day. Tuesday morning, she came home from her shift, having made General Practioner. Mysteria came home with a promotion to Projectionist, and all was well in their household. :)
Before quitting Sims, I renamed Sizolad "Twin Oaks Park," after the location I'm using in the original fiction, and made the main character and her family -- the Von Nostrands.
-M: *staring in disbelief* Von Nostrands.-
Specifically, Christopher Von Nostrand, Jane Von Nostrand, and Katrina Luisa Von Nostrand. Don't call her that, though, she hates her name. :p

Hush you. Hopefully I'll actually play this family.
On the writing front, my main contribution today is a rewrite of a chapter of "Dark Half." I figured out a better way to do Chapter Five (well, Chapter Four now -- I changed Chapter One to a Prologue) that hopefully shows more of Jack's personality.
-D: Explain to me why we need to know more about Jack's personality.-
*huggles* I know this story's tough on you. But if I can improve it, I have to. I've also sent out the first chapter of "Curiouser and Curiouser" and the eleventh chapter of "World of Light" for comments, so hopefully they'll be some updates in my future.
