Heh -- I was referring to my fan fiction work. I seem to be fiddling around a bit with a bunch of stories, rather than focusing on any one in particular.
-VD: As long as things get done, we don't mind.-
-DW: Yup -- it's the quality of output, not the quantity. Though quantity is nice too, we won't lie.-
Heh, yeah, I know. I won't let you guys down.
-VD2: Considering you've finished your page in "Dusky Past," I doubt you will. You may come down hard on yourself, but you are a fairly diligent worker. We're proud of you for writing so regularly.-

Sims today, Sims today. Strangetown day, as per rotation. I actually kind of played two families -- not only did I visit Ariana Roase, I also moved in Otto and Rosie.
-E: I wondered why you were on until 8 when I saw you leave Ariana's.-
Yeah, I get into the building. Anyway, Ariana's day was pretty mundane. She woke up, had some gelatin for breakfast, then turned on her stereo and did a little dancing.
She needs some practice, yeah. I decided she should move onto more intellectual pursuits and had her play some chess.
She played until the phone rang, and then proceeded to talk to her friend Korey for a little while. Next came her daily excercise, which concluded with her finally getting a Body point, yay.
A shower, and she was ready for a nap in her underthings (I get tired of always putting them to bed in pajamas sometimes).
-J: Yeesh, nice underwear.-
*giggle* It's her. After her nap, I decided to let her have a friend over -- she really wanted to pull a prank on someone, and I didn't feel like sending her out on the town today. Jim Hardname wasn't available, but Henry was. Ariana promptly changed into normal clothes -- underwear wouldn't do for Henry. She likes him as a friend, but romantically?
Yeah.
-M: *dryly* Must do wonders for the guy's self-esteem.-
He's devoted to Adelaide Smyth-Jones, he can shake it off. Anyway, I have Ariana pull the relatively harmless Ventrilo-Fart on Henry -- Water Balloon and Joy Buzzer seemed a bit too evil.
Henry's close enough to her to take this as a joke, and they become best friends. :) No retaliation from Henry though, which is odd. All my previous friendly victims got the pranker back. Maybe Henry's too neat or something.
While Ariana and Henry bond further, a random townie named Margret Howe wanders over. Ariana and Henry are playing kicky bag on the sidewalk (or they would be, if the mailbox wasn't in the way). I see Margret turn around and figure her way was blocked.
Nope. A moment later, I hear a crash. Margret kicked over Ariana's trash can -- in full view of her victim!
Sheesh, most Sims know to be sneakier about it then THAT! I have Ariana greet her simply to throw a drink in her face (I love this new "Irritate" :p)
Take that!

With Margret banished into the night, Ariana dances with Henry. Or, more accurately, dances FOR Henry, as he stops five seconds into the action. I think I overfunned him earlier with red hands.
No matter -- a friendly hug, and Henry's on his way, leaving Ariana to watch TV until her job shift starts.
And then it's off to work in the Smoogo! She arrives back home Saturday at 3 AM with a promotion to Convenience Store Clerk. :) Unfortunately, that means her shift starts promptly at 9 -- I have to rush her off to bed so she won't pass out tomorrow.
Thus ends a rather quiet day in the life of Ariana Roase. Though it was interesting finally CATCHING one of those trash-kickers.
As for Otto and Rosie, I concentrated on building their house. I made a decision to go with a green and yellow color scheme (with blue thrown in) -- green and yellow were the colors of the orginal Doc Ock's costume, after all. I also decided to "round off" the outside corners to make the house a bit more visually interesting.

The place is pretty well furnished -- thanks to seperate graduations, they were able to afford some higher-end stuff (and wallpaper -- few of my just-starting Sims get that). They're more interested in each other than the house, though. Otto's first action upon Rosie's arrival was to give her a backrub.
Doesn't beat Gil making out with Agatha in front of the pen, but still sweet. :p
-DW: *grabs a plot bunny* Ah, an art bunny. So who's--
*DocWolf pauses, then suddenly summons over the other Docs*
O.o What is it?
-D: Pinups of the girls?!-
-OD: In anthro and human?!-
Oh boy. *runs before they can poke her to death about this*
-TD: Hey! *fires lasso gun after me*-
-OD: Please do this!-
-D: It's a change from us being half-naked at least!-
Oh, so when it's the GIRLS, it's okay?
-J: *gives Docs the evil eye*-
-M2: Come on, give them a break. She almost never considers the girls in fan art.-
-J2: But pin-ups?-
That "anthro pin-up" idea was a) to finalize colorations, b) equal-opportunity -- BOTH sexes would be featured. And the other isn't really a pin-up, just an idea of all the Doc's Girls.
-VD: Close enough for us. Like Marty said, the girls never get equal time in fan art. *chase*-
