-M: Whoa, a me-centered fic. That never happens.-
Oh, hold on a second, "Teen Doc" was pretty you-centered. So was "Dark Half" -- at the very least, you got roughly equal-time with Doc. I don't neglect you.
-M2: *hands up* Easy there -- we all know Doc's your favorite, and you almost ALWAYS write a Doc-centered fic for those challenges. The only one I can think of that wasn't Doc-based off the top of my head was "Halloweenie."-
-VM: You can't tell us you didn't have a Doc idea for this fan fic challenge.-
-DW: She does, but it's very formless.-
Yeah -- you probably could get an interesting story out of it, but the Marty graduation one is stronger at the moment. We'll see what happens as the month goes on.
-VD: How about your current fan fic projects?-
Well, I did get rather pissed at work today -- busy+hot=crankyVic.
-VD2: Ooooh, NOW you figure out how to revise Sucker's attack on my counterpart.-
Bingo! Sorry VampDoc, but he's gonna scorch your arm on the stove.
-VD: Can't I at least kick him in the groin?-
Heh, you can try. . . .
-D: *looking at written journal* "Past Amnesia" seems to be going pretty well.-
Yeah, it is. The story's flowing -- it's not perfect, by any means, but it's flowing and the main parts are working nicely.
-DW: Er, speaking of NonTrilogy fiction. . . .-
Yes?
-MF: *whimper*-
-DW: He -- accidentally consumed that "Tomorrow Comes Again" plot bunny.-
Ack! Didn't you warn him that it's a rather intense scene?
-DW: Yes, but he ate it anyway!-
-M: *looks at whimpering MartyFox* Oh Jesus, what is it?-
*points at LJ readers* Spoilerific.
-TD: That was never an issue with "Boy Genius."-
Different audience -- I only know of one person who's friended me who also reads "Girl Genius." There's a lot less chance of spoiling anyone should I mention what's happening in THAT story.
-OD: *pats MartyFox's head* I suppose we can guess it'll be rather disturbing.-
-MF: Oh, disturbing doesn't begin to describe it. . . .-
-VD2: I'd say something about you involving Marty in our angst, but that ship sailed with "Dark Half," didn't it?-
Oooooh yes.
-TD: Anyone else find it hard to believe that she ever writes comedy?-
( Strangetown Strikes Again )
Okay, back to work with story stuff. And maybe turning on my fan. It's stuffy in here.
-J2: The fan's out? The fan's out! It's summer!-
It took you that long to notice?
-M: Rhode Island weather teases you.-
Ahh, true.
