Hallo Weekend
Jun. 2nd, 2006 11:00 pm-D: Hopefully your weekend will be more productive than today.-
-OD: *tentacles squee* Though thank you for taking my fan art suggestion.-
You're welcome. It felt good to sketch out the Girl Genius Puppet Pals. I've got Agatha, Gilgamesh, a dingbot (which is a fingerpuppet, naturally), and a Jaeger.
-TD: *looks* Not any Jaeger I recognize.-
He's a random Jaeger. Let's call him Borsch.
-H: Borsch the Jaeger. I can see it.-
-E: I assume this "Borsch" will get some sort of cameo in "Boy Genius."-
Well, now that you've brought it up. . . .
-DW: *devours a plot bunny* Another NonTrilogy idea -- and again, all about "Tomorrow Came Again" and "Definition of a Friend!" What's with the sudden influx?-
Recent fan fiction reading. Don't worry, they should be gone by Monday.
-MDC: X-Men, whoo! *waves a match like a torch*-
Um -- Nightcrawler's not in this one.
-MDC: *stare* Huh?-
I know! :( Give me my Kuroro, damn it!
-M2: Kuroro? When the hell did you become Japanese?-
Kurt/Ororo, silly.
-VD: What, no silly HMS name?-
Hmmm. . . . Hard to come up with one that sounds decent.
-DW: We're sure you'll think of something.-
Heh, yeah. Hopefully it'll be a good movie anyway. *fingers crossed*
-VD2: Yes, apparently the third part of a trilogy is the hardest to sell. Even our own Part III didn't do so well, did it?-
Yeah, unfortunately. I believe the Bobs blamed the way Part II was marketed -- as a stand alone, not as Part I of the sequels -- and that hurt Part III's chances. Still, it did pretty damn well -- 88 million.
-M: Hey, the magic number.-
Precisely. :) And Part III certainly wasn't a bad movie. Let's hope X-3 is just as good.
-MF: *fingers crossed* Yeah, if only for the sake of our sanity.-
Aw, come on, don't you guys like X-Men?
-D: It is a rather intriguing series. I like the science.-
Well, Hank McCoy's in this one.
-VD: Oh, wonderful!-
( Meanwhile, over in Hill Valley )
*yawn* Tired. Bed soon.
-TD: Don't forget to write some more on "Boy Genius" first.-
-D: And if you do nothing else, type a little more up on "The Originals." At least that involves all of us.-
Heh, well, "the originals" are you, VampDoc, and VampDoc2.
-VD: We didn't mean that strictly literally. Now go on, write something.-
Okay, okay. See you all later.
