Sims 2 plans derailed by "Flushed Away" movie. I thought the movie was great -- then again, I think Aardman Animation rules anyway, so. . . . It's very funny and contains all sorts of little injokes and playing on concepts (we have singing slugs providing almost all of the sound effects and background music). Roddy sounded like Victor to me -- dunno why.
-TTV: *shrug*-
-RPD: I certainly hope you're planning to play today!-
Oh, yeah, definitely. And I found some info on the upcoming "Bon Voyage" EP, so that kickstarted the old engine a bit. I wasn't the biggest fan of the old Sims 1 Vacation, and I doubt my Sims will be going on many trips (I'm not a marathon, multi-hours player), but it looks fun nonetheless. And Sims can wear jewelry now!
-TD: *puzzled* That's your big draw?-
You know how I've always complained the watches I've downloaded apparently don't work for male Sims?
-TD: Ooooohhh. . . .-
:D Finally! I'll probably send my Sims either to the beach or camping first. *curious* I wonder if you can save on Vacation lots?
-D: I suspect you can -- you can save on Open For Business business lots.-
Yeah, true. Never done that for fear of game borking, though. (Open For Business had some nasty bugs when it was first released.)
Anyway, this makes the sixth EP that they've brought out for Sims 2. I guess there's just one more before they have a complete set like in Sims 1.
-RPD: *surprised* There's only six? Great Scott, with all the content they've added. . . .-
Heh, yeah, I know. I still haven't experienced everything from all of them! I wonder if they'll keep with the tradition of "something new" or instead give us a reworked Makin' Magic. I mean, I'd like something new, but Makin' Magic was my favorite of the old Sims. . . .
-OD: *tentacles chatter teasingly* Whatever it is, we're sure you'll buy it.-
Yeah, yeah, I know.
All right, I have work to procrastinate on. I'll see you all later if I don't have to do major updates on the Sims journals.
-RPD: JournalS?-
Let's face it, I'll get more done if I feel I have more freedom. I'm moving Eureka to weekends.
-RPD: Well, about time.-
