"2015?!"

The only time we ever see the future in the Back To The Future series. A wonderland of flying cars, ultra-colorful clothes, robotic TV-screen waiters, and holograhpic movies. And fax machines. And the same old jackasses as back in the other eras -- seriously, how do the Tannens keep breeding?
-M: We would ALL love to know the answer to that question.-
Anyway, Marty is conscripted by Doc to save his son, which he does -- narrowly, but it happens. Unfortunately, Jennifer had to be taken along too, and she ends up scoping out her future life with Marty and seeing that it kinda sucks. While rescuing her, the boys inadvertantly leave the time machine open to being stolen by Biff. Which leads to the plot!
-TTV: I'm a little surprised he wandered off leaving the door open.-
-VuM: Trilogy says he was just really distracted -- he's pretty embarrassed about it.-
Heh, poor kid.

Sims problems persist, making an update for Doc's birthday seem unlikely. I'm gonna keep fiddling with the drivers and see if I can force them to install.
-RPD: That's odd that it never seems to "take."-
-TD: You have to let me build you a new computer, Victoria. It would be so much easier.-
Half-tempted to take you up on the offer, sweetie. Dad also mentioned bringing the computer in -- I suppose I should have a video card that the game supports. Though that doesn't help me if the problem is Bon Voyage itself. *grumblemutter* Remind me to search for tips on how to remove SecuROM, it might help.
Aaaanyway, on a less-angry note, here's that drabbles88 I said I was gonna do:
Drabbles88 -- Prompt 88 )

Anyway, gonna look over my other stories now, then see what I can do about this video card situation. (We're making progress -- the game didnt' automatically crash today. It just did that blue screen thing it used to do when I was first struggling with the game.)
-DW: And while you're at it, stop reading about Silent Hill.-
Oh, I'm on a new --
-D: "Clock Tower" isn't much better!-
This is true. :p Come on, it's Halloween. Get into the horror mood.
-VD2: Two of us are vampires -- what more can we do?-
-OD: I'm tempted to polish up the kids MORE just to defy you. *tentacles cheer*-
Well, to be fair, they could use one. . . .

After all, 10:04 is the big one.
-D: Someone smack some sense into her, please. She spent all afternoon reading about psychological horror games.-
-VD: We have no idea if she's going to get any sleep tonight.-
Does it help that I've found silliness? Atomy on devART linked me to An "Adventures In Wonderland" episode. First part of one, anyway.
-HD: O.o?-
Yeah, it was a Disney offering. I forget when it was on. I've been tempted to watch some of it, but the rapper Tweedles kinda put me off. I'm slowly making my way through this one, it's kind of funny.
-HD: O.o -.- o.O Rapper whats?-
-WRM: Why--
*shrug* Darned if I know. I think they were trying to be diverse -- both the Tweedles and Queen are black.
-MHG: Interesting. So what's the current episode about?-
Everybody's upset because a walrus is moving in.
*silence from the Wonderland crew*
Guys?
-HD: A walrus?-
Yeah.
-DJ: *yawn* With a carpenter?-
Not specified.
-WRM: Other talking animals do exist, right?-
Yeah, we have a rollerblading white rabbit.
-MHG: And they're upset about a WALRUS?-
Well, it's one of those edutainment shows -- it's a thing about judging people sight-unseen and racism.
-HD: But -- IT'S WONDERLAND!-
It's kiddy "teach lessons" Wonderland.
-TD: At least Alice isn't going around slaughtering people, right?-
This would be a bad time to mention I found an amusing little AMA video where you can see Alice playing with some of her "toys," right?
-HD: We'd better be getting a great birthday present from you tomorrow.-
-VD2: You remembered?-
-HD: Kind of hard to forget around here.-
Ooh, trust me, I'll make it worth your while. :D
