crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)
Seriously -- we had our first winter storm. The snow started around 11 and just kept piling up. We got at least 3 inches, maybe more. I actually got out of work early because of it. (Sweet, sweet freedom!)
-TD: Bleck, snow.-
-TTV: Why do you hate snow? I thought you were a German version of Dr. Brown, and that place surely sees snow. *getting more puzzled* And now that I think of it, why do you speak English?-
-DW: He didn't start out life as a Spark, Victor. TeenDoc was originally a younger version of us from the story of the same name. He "evolved" into his Sparkself once Victoria discovered Girl Genius.-
-TD: Essentially, I have dual memories -- one set from 1930s Hill Valley, the other from 1890s Europa Wulfenbach. Granted, the latter memories are what make up most of my personality now, but flashes from the old days still come through.-
Besides, it wouldn't be funny if one Doc held out on the "we don't like snow" thing. Never mind even the "real" Hill Valley would see snow. . . .
-D: Is there something wrong with just not liking the cold?-
Heh, can't say there is. Stupid snow.
-TTV: *confuzzled* But -- don't you get confused, if you have two sets of memories? I know I would be.-
-M: It's not as hard to live with as you think, Victor. Us Martys have been doing okay.-
-VD: From what we've learned, it appears that the latest timeline is always the most dominant in the mind -- memories from previous worlds and such eventually dim and become dreamlike. Marty still remembers the Twin Pines world, but the memories are less intense or "real" than the Lone Pine ones.-
-TTV: . . . You know, I thought once that nearly getting married to a corpse was complicated.-
*patpat* I don't understand all of it either, Victor.
-VD2: So, make any use of your extra time off?-
Actually, I did, a little. I managed a page of "Cinder-Marty" while I was there, and I have today's 12 Days of Christmas Ficlet all ready to roll.
-M2: Cool, bring it on.-
Righto!
On the First Day of Christmas, my True Love gave to me:
a partridge in a pear tree )
The second day is all written too -- now I just need to figure out the next few days.
-OD: What about your giftfics? Time's starting to run out. *tentacles nodnod solemnly*-
Eek, I know. I know what I want to do with Ael's, I'm just not sure how to start. It's also Stargate-Fic, so I'm a little nervous about OOCness.
-RPD: I'm sure she'd forgive you. What about Moose and Gigs?-
. . . I just had an idea for Moose, actually. *grin* And Gigs -- well, she seems to like ANYTHING I write, so that shouldn't be too hard.
-RPD: Fair enough. Now get back to work on your Changeling stuff.-
I know, I know. You should get a resurge in that around Christmas, since I asked for World of Darkness books. And hopefully we can do something about my Sims situation too. (Incidentally, Moose, your computer can't reject Sims! I need to live vicariously through you!)
Speaking of buying stuff, I swear Spooky30, the guy with all the cool BTTF Japan Ride stuff, is out to bankrupt me.
-D: Another Doc Brown wig go up?-
Yeah, but something new did too. A DOC/DELOREAN PLUSH
-Docs: O.O-
I swear to God, Japan gets ALL the coolest fricking stuff! I've ALWAYS wanted a Doc doll!
-VD: It is attached to a DeLorean.-
Don't care. Want.
-TTV: Is it acceptable to buy gifts for yourself around Christmas?-
-M2: You want to get in between her and BTTF stuff?-
-TTV: Good point.-
