crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (EEK)
Forgot to mention this the other night! We watched Airplane II: The Sequel last night. Not quite as funny as the original, but it makes a good effort, and I laughed quite a bit.
-VDM: And, like you might guess from the title, there were -- more undressed women.-
Sort of. We didn't get a shot of full-on female nudity like in Airplane, but to make up for it there were a number of shots of naked breasts. And yes, I checked -- The Sequel is indeed rated PG. I'm starting to wonder when PG-13 actually came around. . . . *goes to check*

Apparently Steven Spielberg suggested it after an uproar over Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Gremlins being rated PG. So it got officially instituted in 1984. So, how DID BTTF manage to slip under that rating?
-D: Well, we're certainly not like Indiana Jones or Gremlins.-
Yeah, that's true enough, but you think the whole reverse Oepedius complex/near-incest thing would have brought it up for at least Part I.
-M2: Or Biff trying to rape my Mom!-
That too! Of course, God only knows how well the ratings systems actually work. I've heard plenty of stories about adults dragging little kids off to see R-rated flicks. And, to bring video games into this, buying M-rated games.
-VD2: Makes you wonder why we even bother with a ratings system.-
Well, SOMEBODY cares, otherwise we wouldn't have them. People kick up fusses, and something has to be done to calm them back down.
-TD: I thought that's what stun rays were for.-
You would.
Anyway, been a pretty quiet Saturday around here. Watched "Looking Back To The Future" over lunch -- ahh, sweet Backie goodness.
-VD: Too bad it hasn't inspired you to write.-
-RPD: Or play anyone. Couldn't you at least make a stab at finishing our journal?-
I know, I know. I don't know what's up, I'm just not feeling inspired with the RPers. As for your journal, you know I need some help with the next icon.
-AJ: Why can't you just upload the Victoria/Emily one?-
Because for some reason on this I'm anal! They have to be in order!
-TTV: *whispers* I think the poor girl is feeling some guilt because my canon is currently outperforming yours in her head. She has to prove she's not 'betraying' the rest of you.-
-HD: *overhears* Oh, is this about that Corpse Bride start page you keep looking at?-
-DW: Vic, we really don't mind. The rest of your computer is themed for BTTF!-
-OD: *Jules* Really, you're so into crossing fandoms these days you should alter your themeset to include not only BTTF, but Corpse Bride and American McGee's Alice. Right, how hard would it be to do a photo collage?-
I don't want to change my computer theme! I like my theme! (Changing the computer itself, on the other hand. . . .)
-VD2: That song and dance again? We know you're not buying another computer anytime soon.-
-TD: Actually, she might be serious this year -- she's been rereading her Sims 2 guides quite a bit. And muttering something about an Alice toy shop.-
-RPD: Alice running a store? Do you really think that would work?-
Wouldn't know until I tried. I do kind of miss them sometimes. . . .
-DW: Well, this is something we can discuss later. You ought to write something -- or at least fiddle around with your timeline some more.-
Ooo, yeah. See ya later!
