Showing How Important Add-Ons Can Be

Me: *has just finished playing American McGee's Alice, gets back on Firefox* Okay, LJLogin, let's see what I missed on LJ!

LJLogin: Uh -- yeah, can't do that.

Me: . . . What?

LJLogin: LJ's not speaking to me for some reason. Keeps slamming the door in my face.

Me: WTFBBQ?? *tries RP journals*

LJLogin: She still won't talk to me. Should I buy her some chocolates?

Me: *goes on LJ -- it's working* *logs in manually* The hell?

LJLogin: Would flowers work?

Me: *closes out Firefox, reopens, tries again*

LJLogin: We are no closer to a resolution than we were 30 seconds ago. I haven't had time to buy her diamonds.

Me: ARGH! Did I miss a secret update or something?! *goes to LJLogin site*

LJLogin: I don't get it either, we were doing so well together. . . .

Me: *browses site, spots LJLogin update LJ -- gets news it seems to be down all over* Okay, at least I know it's not just me.

LJLogin: What did I doooo?

Me: *reads comments* Hold up, it appears LJ's having some sort of update put through, and it's messing with logging in through clients.

LJLogin: Oh, it's that time of the month already?

Me: Not funny.

LJLogin: Sorry.

Me: *blows off LJ for a while, tries again some minutes later* YAY! IT LIVES!

LJLogin: She forgave me! It's wonderful! We're back to normal! Until the next update, of course.

Me: *browse, browse, go to dear_mun, giggle* Looks like everybody freaks out when you go down.

LJLogin: You like me, you really like me!

Yeah, is it obvious this thing is really important to me? Seriously, I don't know how -- okay, I know how I lived without it. I just remember being a lot more frustrated back then.
