And sometimes, I am very glad to live in the modern era. As posted on the Girl Genius LJ community, 6 Popular Fashion Trends That Killed People. At least three are from the 19th century, and one was used up until the 1920s, so it made it into the Victorian era. I don't fancy being killed by my own CLOTHES. (Bad enough my ill-advised trek to Subway today resulted in a blister on the side of my foot.) A warning -- one of the trends mentioned is foot-binding, which is pure evil for the feet. There are pictures. They are disgusting and I recommend you try not to look at them.

8butterflyboy8's Winter Bingo prompts. "Cabin" is proving to be more difficult than first expected.
-OD: How so?-
Just -- I know what I want, but the words aren't matching up quite right. I've got it into a better form now, but it will require more tweaking. On the plus side, I thought up a nice prompt and fic for the Author's Choice square on his first card, so that's something out of the way.
-VD: But other than that, it's been laze around, right?-
Yes. I suppose my brain wants to get in as much of that as possible before I need to use it in school.
-RPD: Shouldn't you be taking the opportunity to RP?-
I should, I should! The problem is, I think I'm in a bit of a slow patch. *pokes self to just post something, goddamnit*

That's thrown me for a loop, yeah. But it is also very nice to get her out and about in a non-Inkwell setting. I just need to get my ass moving on the others.
