A Day of Completions
May. 12th, 2011 11:53 pmI finished "American McGee's Alice" again today. Queen Bossfight Part I wasn't too bad, but Queen Bossfight Part II took longer than I thought it should. Mostly because I kept falling off the side of platforms. <.< >.> But hey, I prevailed in the end, and Alice's sanity was saved! FOR NOW.
-TD: And how does she celebrate? By finding a Let's Play of the game she just finished.-
Hey, it's FUNNY. OreWaUsopp Alice Babbleplay -- it is amusing. Not the least because he admits he kinda sucks at the game. For example, he died in the very first level -- and not thanks to the card guard. No, he fell off the side of a platform into the acid water, then got stuck on something and couldn't jump back up. Fortunately his commentary makes his fail amusing.
I also finished "Feet of Clay" today. Great book, as usual. I love the Watch books -- Vimes is a fantastic character. And the Watch in general is funny and heartwarming. I love the "anti-prejudice" vibe from the last two. And I look forward to seeing our new Watchman in action later. :D
( Potential Spoiler )
Onto "Hogfather" next, which I'm looking forward to both for the book, and the fact that I can watch the special after I've finished with it. Hooray!
There was something else I was gonna mention. . . . Damn, can't remember. Instead I'll share this tidbit I recently found out: Somebody's doing a "Witches of Oz" thing, where Dorothy Gale is a famous writer who discovers her Oz stories are based on repressed memories and now she has to fight the witches who have escaped into our world or something like that. It looks to be your usual slightly-goofy classic update, but I'm willing to forgive it for the picture I'm about to link to:
Scroll down until you see a familiar name
-HD: . . . Nice hat.-
I KNOW. Screw the rest of the movie, can I just have a couple of hours of Chris being awesome in steampunk gear?? *drooool*
