Done in list form because I'm rather tired and busy catching up:
-->Trip to mall was uneventful. I ended up bringing along Victor Plush, Alice Dolly, and my camera on the off-chance Gamestop would have an Alice display that I could get Alice Dolly's picture with.
-->Gamestop not only didn't have a display, they almost didn't have Alice! Their PC games section up there is pitifully small, and for a moment I thought they didn't have it. Then I spotted some copies of the game on various platforms on the wall behind the counter. Turns out there was ONE PC copy left, and fortunately it wasn't spoken for. Whew!
-->Did a small wander around Newbury. As Alice wasn't quite as expensive as I thought, I went ahead and got the DVD of
Tangled. Hey, the price had dropped by about half, I can afford it. Also got a pin reading "The best things in life are freaky. . .really, really freaky." XD
-->Lunch at Subway -- Chicken Bacon Ranch. Om nom nom. Also took some pictures of the dolls posing with my new purchases, because I felt I ought to do something with them.
Alice with the game,
Victor with Tangled. (Twitpic because VictorPlush posted these to his Twitter. :p They also
hung out on a bench together.)
-->Hit Dave & Buster's -- Wednesday means half-price games! Won tickets, got a great score on Guitar Hero (thank God for beginner mode), and used VictorPlush for the face in MarioKart (they have a feature where they put your face in the game). Most hilariously creepy thing ever -- basically he was a gray blob with big white eyes.
-->Before leaving, visited Ben & Jerry's and got a Cookie Cookie shake -- Milk & Cookies and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream mixed together in a shake. Tasty! :D
-->Ride home also uneventful. Got home, met Mom as she was leaving for work, went upstairs, played a little "catch up on the internet," took my shower, and installed Alice.
-->Alice's installation took FOREVER. Copying files has never been so slow. But hey, it worked.
( Getting Into Spoilerish Territory )Okay, time to take a break and watch some Nostalgia Critic, I think. Old Vs New: True Grit tonight!
