It's Back!

Chester came back today! I headed up to Warwick almost as soon as Mom told me the news and picked him up! (Also stopped by Barnes & Noble afterwards to pick up The Last Continent and a banana chocolate smoothie. I'm not even halfway through Jingo, but I wanted to celebrate -- and get something cool for the walk back to the bus stop at CCRI.) Everything seems kosher so far, though admittedly I haven't tried to play Alice. God, it feels good to be back on MY computer! With LJ Login and Adblocker! (Admittedly, I've gotta update Kaspersky, but hey, small price to pay.)
-TD: How'd it go at Best Buy?-
Pretty smoothly. I booted up Chester there to make sure everything was working okay and that my stuff was still available. Things seem good so far. They replaced the heatsink and motherboard, so hopefully things are all set for me to FINALLY FINISH my game.

I'm waiting until after supper so I can play uninterrupted. Oooo, this had better go well. . .as it is now, though, I'm gonna go take a shower, then hang out online for a bit until supper.

Alice Plays!

There's still a bit of stuttering at times, but overall it's pretty smooth. I'm taking a short break at the moment for ice cream and Nostalgia Critic, so have some thoughts:

It's also thunderstorming here at the moment. I'm not TOO worried, but it's another reason not to be on Alice right this minute. But damn, is it good to be back. :) Let's see how long it takes me to get to the end. First, though, the Nostalgia Critic's doing Milk Money. :D
