12 Days of Christmas: Day Ten

Still having rage over the comment system. If I use the new look (which I sort of have to with many of my LJs), I get a problem with comments only showing up with my default icon. With![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
8butterflyboy8, I can get around this by having everything show up in his style, but:
A) I actually really don't like doing that -- it feels confusing, like I should always be on his journal
B) This leads to any extra-long threads of mine not loading properly -- basically -- at a certain point it cuts off, and you've got to go to the end and click on that to see the rest of the comments.
This is just so fucking annoying. LJ, at the very least, get the icon problem fixed? I mean, I, along with pretty much the rest of LJ, would prefer it if you brought our old comments back, but can you at least fix the glitches with this one? In a timely manner?
On the more pleasant side, played some of EVL today. He didn't do too much, but he learned some new spells. I might play some more tomorrow and get him out of college for an update. We'll see how I feel about it.
Now, I've got tumblr and tags and fanfic to do, so off I go!
