Well Wheatley's Gone Evil
Dec. 28th, 2012 11:05 pmWhich distresses me, as I've realized I get lost VERY EASILY in this game. During "The Escape," I was constantly looking up for him so I could figure out where to go. And there was a moment where a door was staring me in the face, and I didn't see it. *facepalm* It's not good with the player has less of a sense of direction than WHEATLEY.
Still, game is fun. I got past all of GLaDOS's test chambers (although I couldn't resist the "Good Listener" achievement, where you go into her last test chamber and get neurotoxined) and installed Wheatley as the God-head of Aperture. And got myself punched down a pit. So now I'm in the Aperture Science Innovators portion of the game, ready to go exploring! And get lost. Oh so hopelessly lost.
While I'm rambling about the game, I must say that I like how the title screen and the loading screens keep changing as you progress. It always reflects where, roughly, you are in the sequence of events. It's fun! :D
Not much else to say for today -- been pretty quiet on the RP front, although
forgotten_vows and
fearsnothing have had a nice chat. And I also got the edited Chapter 4 of "Finding You" up on AO3, so that's an accomplishment. :) For now, though, I'm guessing it's back to tumblr.
