Tell myself that, since Victor's getting a wonderland with separate domains, Alice is going to need dresses to match his suits. . . *shakehead* I'm going a bit crazy here with this thing.
-TTV: A bit?-
Oh hush. I'm actually considering giving Victor a separate "London" suit because I decided to give Alice a separate "Burtonsville" dress. To be fair, he SHOULD have more than just the suit he was wearing in the movie in his wardrobe. . .
-HD: Why did Alice get a new dress?-
Well, it's only mostly new -- I wrote up a description of the purple dress she's wearing in that one Corpse Bride-inspired picture in the artbook.
-HD: Oooooooh! And now Victor needs something different for London?-
Yeah. Of course, I already introduced him in "Finding You" as wearing roughly the same clothes as he was in Corpse Bride, and it's hardly worth changing. Maybe I'll just say he's wearing a solid gray variant with the same tie and vest.
-D: A good route to go.-
Thank you.

I also finally finished Night Watch today -- one of the Discworld novels. Again, enjoyed the heck out of it. Although, good lord, there were so many times when I just wanted to hug Vimes. . . Seeing Ankh-Morpork in the bad old days was really interesting. It's fascinating to look at younger versions of the characters and think of where they'd end up. A curious sidenote too -- apparently this book happens roughly at the same time as Thief of Time, and the next book, Monstrous Regiment, seems to happen either around the same time or very close to it. Talk about a lot happening! (Specifically, in Night Watch, Vimes gets sent to the past by the same lightning that hits a certain clock.)
Probably counts as a mild spoiler )

Now, I just have to get my hands on Monstrous Regiment. And then it's on to Going Postal, meeting Moist Von Lipwig, and finally getting to see the adaptation that's on Netflix (I don't want to watch it without having read the book). Slowly but surely catching up on the backlog!

Right now, though, I'm going to get back on tumblr, because I'm sure I have replies to get to.
