crossover_chick: gif of Doc gasping (BTTF: EEK)
Me This Morning: Huh? Oh, it's 9:12 A.M. . . . I went to bed at 2, so I think I can catch just a few more zzzzs. . .get up at 9:30 or something. . .
Time Passes
Me: Ah, okay, now -- 10:32?!

Yeah, I slept in! I haven't gotten up past 10 in ages! Granted, I know I needed the sleep, and it's a three-day weekend, so I'm not too fussed. And the weather was kind of lousy too, so I don't feel I missed much by getting up late.

Highlights of the day:
-->Got some more written on "In the Land of the Dead" -- almost to the point where I stopped writing before! New material awaits! Though, really, with all the changes I've made so far, the story's almost all new material anyway. . .

-->Caught up on Hell's Dark Souls and Castlevania stuff. Apparently Castlevania 64 has nightmarish monster-robo-gardeners armed with chainsaws that chase your character through the gardens. Or, well, at least one. Between that and an unforgiving Basilisk in Dark Souls II and poor Helloween died quite a lot today. *pats him*

-->I am now the proud owner of an Eighth Island in DragonVale! I'm currently in the process of clearing it off -- lots of Huge Trees and Boulder piles to deal with. Fortunately, most of the smaller stones have gone bye-bye -- a bit of time-speeding from Kairos helped with that. I also hatched an Abyss Dragon, which I have named Angler. And I've rearranged my Epics island a bit to get some more space and maybe see if I can't make things look a little better. Trying to make an attractive park can be tricky when you're still sussing out how many habitats you need/can have. . .

-->Have tried the Arena in Hearthstone -- playing Malfurion with a deck that's all about boosts. Won one game against a Valeera (who had what is one of the most unfair cards I have ever seen (deal two damage to hero, PUT IT BACK IN YOUR HAND), but ended up conceding when it appeared I could weather her attacks) and one loss to a Thrall who knew how to handle his deck better. I'll keep going later and see what I can win.

And now I should return to tumblr, as I've been spending my evening catching up with the tags I didn't get to yesterday. Brain burnout is most unforgiving, I must say. Later all!
