Spellfall Is Way Too Addicting
Aug. 22nd, 2014 11:19 pmAlthough I can easily see why -- this is pretty much EXACTLY the game I wanted a little while back, where you could sling spells around and be wizardy and awesome and shit. I wasn't expecting it to come in the form of "match game RPG," but it has and it is glorious. XD I'm almost done clearing out the fourth area -- just one big Corrupter battle to go, and then the boss battle. I've opened up all the slots on my Mechro Plate, and ended up switching weapons to a Shocking Doll (a blobby doll thing) since that has extra attack AND boosts my attack with the energy "element," which all the enemies in this area are weak to (they're almost all water creatures). I've also fully leveled up my Poison and Heal runes, so I can recover some serious health and do some serious damage. :) And I've got a new Rune, Enchant, that lets me randomly enchant one of the game pieces for extra spelltime fun. :) So yeah, fun game, even if the best weapons are crazy expensive -- but they'll let you have one for free if you play 20 days consecutively, so that's nice. And you get a free item every day too. Most of them have proved to be crap, but hey, free cash.
In DragonVale, big news of the day is finally getting one of the Dark/Light hybrids -- the Mirage! That's cooking in my nursery. I'm still trying for the Shadow, and I've got a pair going that could give me either a Geode or a Hydra, so that's nice. I also hit Level 45, so I'm eligible for the Tenth Island! God knows when I'll actually be able to afford it, though -- 1,000,000,000 DC. Yeeks. And then there's the money necessary to clear it. . .still, I'm making very good dosh right now, so that's a plus. And once I get more epics. . .well. Money money. :p
Hearthstone -- double loss today. Malfurion lost to a clever Garrosh, and my own Garrosh lost to a Gul'dan. Though the latter match was more about getting Garrosh leveled than anything else, so I'm not too chuffed. And Malfurion got a free "instant-leave/concede" win when I first put him in. Never like those -- I want to feel like I've EARNED that win, darn it.
In things not games: Blu-Ray Chapter 6 of "Forgetting You," as promised! Again, I'm quite proud of my edits here. Things seem to flow much more naturally now -- and I was able to add in a little slapstick to Victor's adventure in the icehouse. :P Nothing major, but hopefully it's a good laugh before the Mermaid catches on fire.
And now I need to go get my head back in the game when it comes to RP replies. G'night all!
