And the general crappiness of the day (slush and rain during the morning, constantly getting distracted from my work, fighting with a credit card gift that would not go through, severe delays getting the GL done, discovering a pledge-card mess-up (sent to the wrong address even after we sent them the right one), not getting a project I wanted started, dealing with almost-but-not-quite-a-headache during the afternoon, dealing with no wifi this afternoon, still no more writing done on Remembering You) supported that decision. Ugh. Not a nice Tuesday.
Fortunately, there were a few good bits:
-->I may not have gotten any actual writing done on the story, but I did come up with an idea for a new set piece -- Victor and Alice vs the Illustrated reporter. :P I've actually had a headcanon for a bit about somebody from the paper sending Alice the picture, so I wonder if I can bring that up.
-->Mega DragonVale update for tomorrow showing off all my new dragons, yay~ 13 pictures, which is probably some sort of record for those
-->Belated birthday present from Nebby! Showing off four kinds of Victor/somebody fusions (since she's big into Steven Universe, where that's a thing):
1. Victor/Victoria = Viola
2. Victor/Emily = Sonata
3. Victor/Alice = Valice
4. Victor/Bumby =UNHOLY ABOMINATION RUN Ruin
So that was sweet (and aren't those first three outfits awesome?).
-->I still managed to get most of my tags drafted on my lunch break, mainly by virtue of having none on DW. I do have a message to get to, but it did lower stress levels a little.
So yeah, silver lining and all that. But now I think I'm just gonna do my message and get to bed. Hopefully tomorrow will be better on the happiness front.
