Back To The Routine
Feb. 9th, 2016 10:45 pmWell, more or less -- it was a pretty busy day today, since we lost two days of work thanks to snowy times. I had two imports to do for our processing company, there were over 40 credit card gifts to process (pledges and payments), reports to do, checks to scan -- it made the day go by, at least. I also took two separate calls complaining about some part of our mailing system, so that was interesting. So yeah, busy but otherwise typical work day.
Work on "Remembering You" continues -- Victor's still not quite getting along with his parents. It's funny -- even with clearly being remorseful over what happened to Victor in Bumby's care, they're still kind of clueless/overly concerned with appearances. And Nell just can't get over not liking Alice. As you might imagine, the future relationship with the in-laws isn't close.
I also went ahead and bough the damn Serenity dragon in DragonVale, since all attempts at breeding it have been met with miserable failure. The goal completion for it used the "Keep Calm and. . ." meme, so I ended up naming it "Carryon." XD It looks pretty cute -- and as long as that other one's in the Co-Op cave, I'll keep breeding with it. Might get a pedestal or two out of the deal. *shrug*
Not much else to say -- except Happy Mardi Gras, I suppose. I'd forgotten until the Carnival dragon was rereleased. *shrug* I've got all my tumblr replies queued, so time to answer the DW stuff, then hit the sack. Night all!
