Mall Trip Tomorrow!
Feb. 19th, 2016 10:54 pmI've been wanting to go for weeks now, but the weather on the weekends hasn't cooperated, as you all well know. But tomorrow's supposed to be largely clear and in the high 40s, so I'm striking while the iron is hot. My initial plan was to see if I could catch a showing of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (yes, it's a movie now), but the only showing I could find was at 11:40 P.M., which doesn't really work. And my parents brought up the good point that, while I enjoyed the book, I might not react so well to seeing the zombie slaying on the big screen. Though I handled the graphic novel version pretty well. . .eh, moot point with only one late-night showing. Toyed with seeing Deadpool instead, but honestly I think I'm just gonna wander around Newbury's and hit Dave & Buster's like I usually do. That'll be fun enough for me.
Work was a bit slow today -- spent a good chunk of it putting graduation years on a list of alumni for another school. Less students this time, so the process went quicker, but I'm searching out some missing birthdates and trying to correct some mismatched people, so -- it's always a process. Least it keeps me busy, I suppose.
Something I forgot to mention yesterday from DragonVale: After all that time struggling and failing for both the Pyrite and the Barite, I somehow managed to get the latest Crystalline dragon to come out, the Okenite, on the first freaking try! O.o How does that work? Someone's also left their Dodo dragon in the co-op breeding cave, so I'm going for a one-in-a-million out-of-season breed with the Barite. If I can get it, you'd better believe I'll be begging on tumblr for someone to put up one half of the Pyrite pair. Only two dragons off having them all (however briefly). . .
And about another page done on "Remembering You" -- writing the beginning of Chapter 7, which I have decided starts with Dr. Wilson trying to convince Alice and Victor to let him hypnotize Victor. As you might imagine, they're not enthusiastic. (Which is sad, because hypnosis might seriously have helped. . .on the other hand, Victor relaxing enough for it to take effect? Probably not happening.)
Okay, time to wrap up replies -- mall trips mean getting up about 8 to make the bus, so I gotta aim for a bedtime of about midnight. G'night all, sleep tight!
