Fallout-Dominated Saturday
May. 7th, 2016 11:15 pmBeen a busy day in Vault 490 -- a couple of raider attacks, some radroach and mole rat invasions, and a baby boom thanks to an objective to get six women pregnant for a lunchbox (special item that gives you a bunch of little bonuses at once, like extra junk for crafting or extra resources). I've been spending a looot of time with this little mobile game, mainly because it's pretty easy to get sucked in. Especially if an incident happens -- I've had to fight off so many raiders. . .on the plus side, no Deathclaws yet. I hear they're a REAL bitch to deal with. And I've gotten my population high enough to start crafting the good outfits, so that's a plus. And I've got the barbershop now to customize people, which will earn me a pet thanks to an objective asking me to do just that! Hooray! :P
Rest of the day has been dominated by:
-->Edits on Chapter 5 of "Losing You" -- the new beginning for what was once Chapter 4 is coming along nicely. I added in more detail about the three other doctors Victor actually spoke to -- it's kind of a comedy of errors. Dr. Sturmkeng in particular is probably both laugh and cringe-worthy, given he's the guy who tries to shock Victor back to sanity. . .
-->Getting Mom's Mother's Day card -- found something that she should find sufficiently amusing. I'll be giving it to her tomorrow afternoon when she gets home from work, along with her present.
-->Watching videos -- NC's Blade review (conclusion: full of 90's cheese, but still quite watchable), and Helloween's Fatal Frame and RE 5 Co-Op Sets. Poor Hells is so done with the FF game, it's almost unbelievable. Can't blame him, though -- not only is the game rather boring, it's also crapping out on him framerate-wise now, so actually playing it is a chore. He's so close to the end we can all taste it -- hopefully he'll make it! Tomorrow is Vampire Day, along with that penultimate set of FF that went up tonight.
-->Sims 4 -- Marty and Jennifer had their first date today! I was worried it wasn't going to be a non-starter, since their romantic interactions are kind of hit and miss, but once I got them both into the right frame of mind (aka, made them both flirty), it went pretty smoothly! I haven't made them officially boyfriend/girlfriend yet, but it should be in the cards for their next update.
So yeah, pretty good day. Though I've gotten to the RP part of it pretty damn late tonight. . .but I'm not going to stress over it. Shit happens, what ya gonna do. Besides, looks pretty quiet on tumblr at least. . .we'll see what happens, though. For now, good night!
