YAY NICE WEATHER SATURDAY
May. 14th, 2016 11:30 pmThey said it was going to be rainy and miserable but it WASN'T it was 70 DEGREES OUT AND SUNNY well most of the day BUT IT STILL COUNTS!
Sorry for the capslock, but after being told all week that the weekend was going to be kind of shit, to find that today was actually pretty nice -- it was good! I opened my windows and got out for a nice walk. . .good to get some proper fresh air. It clouded up after three-thirty though, and the forecast for tomorrow is cooler and gloomier. . .eh, at least we got one good day. And it's good to see that the warmth is more or less sticking around now. It's halfway through May, so it's about freaking time.
Things I have done today:
-->Took said walk, then proceeded to vacuum the house while my parents were on a bike ride
-->Watched Linkara (Ultimate Power #3, which is basically "Reed Richards ruined everything and everyone is traced"), Nostalgia Critic (Batman: Mask of the Phantasm and why it is the best Batman movie -- and done spoiler-free no less!); and the last set of Helloween's Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water LP (Ren as usual rejects womanly contact, Miu's backstory is STILL full of ewwwy incest, and Yuri manages to save the day by taking lots of pictures and hugging someone in the correct form. And the ending has a totally inappropriate upbeat J-Pop song. THIS GAME). That leaves Vampire: The Masquerade -- Bloodlines Malkavian edition, Bayonetta, RE5 Co-Op, and a Fun With Shorts for tomorrow. Suddenly I'm kind of glad the weather's supposed to be shitty.
-->Edited more of Chapter 6 of "Losing You" -- parts of Victoria's chat with Victor have changed significantly, but I've managed to save a chunk I quoted in a later story so I didn't have to do yet more edits elsewhere. Um -- yay? :P It's coming along well, though -- think it'll be an improvement on what's there.
-->Played Sims 4 -- Emmett had a day off today! So I had him invite Nikal and Marty around to see if I could get him and Marty to Good Friends status. Not only did I succeed there, to my surprise and delight Nikal started flirting with him! I had him flirt back, and now they're interested in each other. So that's going to be a thing for future updates. I approve. :D
-->Played more Fallout Shelter -- while it still crashes, apparently it's afraid of getting deleted and will actually let me play the game for a while before doing so. I've made some new weapons, survived another Deathclaw attack. . .what I'd like is to rearrange my vault's layout a little bit, but I'm worried the game will throw a shit fit. Ah well, what can you do. . .
-->Got some stuff queued up for my personal tumblr (hooray, I'm somewhat ahead for a change) and just did replies over there -- owe some stuff on DW too but I'll get to that in a second.
So yeah, pretty good Saturday overall. Now time to see if I can keep on top of stuff so I don't feel completely squeezed for time tomorrow. Night all!
