Short Videos Saturday
Jun. 25th, 2016 11:08 pmLinkara's second video on "Graduation Day" was only 20 minutes long (and still managed to contain Nightwing being a douchey idiot, Robin and Superboy being drawn in a situation that can only imply they had gay sex, Super-Bot, and a pointless death for drama -- Linkara is in full not-happy mode), and NC's vid on The Cat In The Hat Vs The Grinch was only ten -- and three of those minutes were dedicated to the charity shout-out! (Then again, there wasn't much to say about the crossover itself -- it's weird, it's trippy, it's not really that good but it's largely harmless, to paraphrase the Critic.) I also watched Helloween's videos on two Kickstarter demos (one a Metroid-vania-style space shooter, the other a Castlevania-style 3-D sidescroller -- both looked cool), and a "Fun With Shorts" on relaxing, made by a drug company and full of "wacky" comedy (Josh was able to get in plenty of zingers, let me tell you). All good stuff, even if some of them were surprisingly short.
On the other hand, this means I've got a real marathon going tomorrow -- three Dark Souls III sets, two Vampire: The Masquerade -- Bloodlines sets, and a Bayonetta set. Plus Zero Punctuation, if I don't end up watching that tonight at some point. Not that I'm complaining, as those are all great games done by my favorite LPer -- it's just gonna be a lot to get through in one day! At least Sundays I don't have to worry about vacuuming. . .
Not much else to say, really. I've come to what I think is a decent ending point for Chapter 4 of "In The Land of the Dead" -- I'll probably give it a read-over tomorrow to do some pre-posting tweaking. Then I'll get started on Chapter 5's edits, and hopefully everything will just progress from there. Shouldn't be any more new chapters (or, well, NEW-new chapters, I imagine we will still have plenty of 'this is basically all new content it just has the same shape as what came before' chapters), but we'll see if my brain insists on anything.
One bit of news from DragonVale -- got the Pyrite from the recently-ended Shimmering Solstice! I was hoping to get both missing Crystalline dragons, but I'll take getting at least one. The Barite will be back eventually. Now I just need someone to put their dang Nebula in the breeding cave. . .
And -- that's it! Doing the RP thing now, so I'll just see you all tomorrow after the marathon! :P Night!
