Negative Bias Or Genuine Pattern?

AKA, guess whose bus was late today when I really really wanted to get out on time because extra time off? Apparently there were accidents all over the place -- plus the stop I usually go to was out of service because they'd shut down part of the street! So actually the bus being late worked out in my FAVOR because it meant I got to the convention center stop in time! Still ended up pretty hot and sweaty from having to jog over there, though, and from having to walk home because both my parents were out this afternoon (Dad working, Mom meeting up with her sister). Took a shower almost the moment I walked in the door.

Work day itself was fine -- putting in checks, doing obits, that sort of thing. And, as scheduled, I got the next chapter of "In The Land of the Dead" up -- read it on FF.net, on AO3, or on my website (which was a little bitch today and didn't have the right link come up at first). Another chapter largely focused around killing exposition and tightening up the timeline -- good times, good times.

All right, I promised my friend I'd talk to her tonight, so I'd best finish up Forgotten's queue and my FF.net PMs pretty quick here. Fortunately there's not that much to catch up on with him, and I've got my replies already drafted, so. . . And then tomorrow is Ghostbusters/Jason Bourne day at the Warwick Showcase theater! (I'm going to see the former, my parents are seeing the latter.) Fingers crossed the movie's as good as some of my tumblr friends have made it out to be. . .
