Not A Great Start To The Week
Aug. 1st, 2016 10:37 pm-->Last night our toilet went kinda kaput -- wouldn't flush properly -- and the problem hadn't cleared up by this morning, uuugh
-->I had a shitty time getting to sleep last night (Helloween's LP of Penumbra is funny up to the point where my brain starts trying to think about the monster designs at night, and I kept getting too hot under the covers)
-->Stumbled this morning going up the stairs to work and banged up one of my sandals (fortunately I didn't bang up me too bad)
-->And my coworkers had their own shit to deal with concerning various illnesses/injuries/what have you. Inauspicious start to this week indeed.
On the plus sides:
-->Another coworker who just came back from her own vacation to Hershey Park brought back a five pound chocolate bar for all of us to share. Bets are being taken about how long it'll last. :P
-->Work itself wasn't too bad -- I amused myself with imports and check-inputting, and I got home at a reasonable hour.
-->Weather was pretty nice today -- it's actually supposed to be kind of a cooler, drier week this week, so that's nice. Yay opportunities for a walk.
-->Toilet was fixed by the time I got home, hooray~ Always nice to know the plumbing works.
-->Got a nice chunk done on Chapter 9 of "In The Land of the Dead" -- should be able to wrap that up tomorrow.
-->Tumblr was not too insane (plus I'm finally starting to conquer my habit of trying to keep super-caught-up on my dash), so I'm going to get to bed at a decent hour!
So yeah, I guess it balances out. Now if only I could get that darn Cerberus dragon in DragonVale via breeding, instead of having to spend more rings. . . Ah well. Gonna answer my last messages and then hit the sack. Night all!
