Oh Tuesday
Aug. 2nd, 2016 11:00 pmWork consisted mainly of maintenance stuff -- making up a new template for our GL, then boxing up a bunch of the old GLs to get them out of the way so we could put new ones in the drawers. Not the funnest job in the world -- fortunately it only happens once a year. Even so, I was looking forward to getting home and finishing up my writing and suchlike.
And then the 4:08 bus NEVER SHOWED UP. No fucking clue why either -- we hit some slowdowns on the way back on the 4:38 (which was on time), but if there were accidents, they were cleared up by the time I got to them. I got home at a good time for the 4:38, but still.
I did get my writing done -- Chapter 9 of "In The Land of the Dead" is all set now, and should be ready to go up Thursday evening (along with my correction to Chapter 8, explaining where the elder Liddells are). I also got my personal tumblr queue ready through Thursday, though I ended up wasting a bunch of time looking for some old Inkbusters stuff (did a Thursday post on my old AU for that) when it turned out I'd linked it in the original post I'd made on the subject. *facepalm* Ah well. . . Posts are written, Forgotten's queue is set -- just have two more things to answer, then I'm going to bed. It's a nice cool night and I'm taking advantage of being able to have my window open. Later, all!
