Sep. 6th, 2016 10:40 pmAnother one where I found myself trapped in traffic both going to and getting out of work -- mostly because it was a pretty shitty day weather-wise and of course RI drivers just can't get it together in any sort of rain. . . Work itself was pretty meh, interspersed with some stomach-tying moments where I had to call people on the phone. Nothing bad happened, I just don't like the phone. Rather, I hate talking to strangers on the phone. I always feel like I'm going to make an idiot of myself. Bleh. Made it through, though.
No edits on "In The Land of the Dead" yet -- got home too late AND had to bake muffins, which took longer than normal thanks to me needing to wait on some ingredients to be fetched (specifically, we were out of flour and almost out of milk). Instead I wrote a chunk of a scene from "Londerland Bloodlines," since that's been persistently on my mind thanks to me playing the game. I've already decided Harry's mistake in insulting Nines with an ill-timed joke about how the bar smells will be echoed by Alice if I ever do some serious writing on the AU. And her response to Nines telling her off will be, ". . .my Nanny owns a pub just like this get off your bloody high horse." XD
Not much else to say -- queue is done for Forgotten, got one last reply to do, and then I should hit the sheets. Need my sleep after all. Hopefully the weather will have improved some tomorrow. Until then!
