Happy Part III Festival Day!
Sep. 5th, 2016 10:04 pmThough unlike other years, I watched Part I instead of Part III -- as stated yesterday, the reasoning being, "Okay, I literally don't remember when I saw these movies in chronological order." Still as good as ever, of course. :) Always nice to see Doc and Marty again. I also ended up watching a rather long review by Some Jerk With A Camera on the BTTF Ride -- some amusing parts, but a lot of his jokes go on WAAAAY too long and really AREN'T that funny. And rely too much on cameos from other people. Though seeing Linkara break out his Fat Grandma for a Doc Brown impersonation was pretty funny.
Other things of note today:
-->Finished Chapter 12 of "In The Land of the Dead!" Chapter ended up wrapping on Lizzie, Arthur, Lorina, and Bonejangles planning on playing teacher to the little dead kids who still haunt Houndsditch for a lack of anyplace better to go. Some nice, cutesy stuff, though it makes me wonder how I'm going to stop them getting inside Living Houndsditch now. . .well, that's what edits are for. Back to Chapter 11 tomorrow to start work on getting that post-ready -- doubt I'll manage a Friday posting, but maybe, with a little luck, I could manage getting both Chapter 11 and Chapter 12 up on the same day? And even if I don't, I should have a decent head start for Chapter 13 afterwards. . . We'll see how it goes!
-->Played another round of Sims 4 -- Eric had the day off, so I followed Nikal to work instead. She did inventy things, and had a few attempted flirts with Emmett. . .but considering even a Flirty Emmett got embarrassed at a Risque question, I'm starting to think they need to pursue separate romantic interests. I guess we'll see when I come back around to them again.
-->Got some Thursday posts written up for my main tumblr, which is good, because I like staying ahead of the curve with my queue. Was very nice not to have to worry about it this weekend! Especially since I kinda have to go to the DMV this upcoming one, my ID's close to expiring.
And that's about it! The only real complaint I have about this Labor Day is all the wind and clouds from the remains of Hermine. . .but considering it could have been a lot worse, I'll keep my mouth shut. Anyway, time to finish off replies, then head to bed. Work tomorrow -- and I'll have to get used to the idea of full Fridays again, meeeh. Well, so long as the traffic isn't too bad, I still have that extra half-hour. . . Night!
