Chapter 13 -- Complete!
Oct. 2nd, 2016 10:40 pmAnd backed up the moment I completed it, because you know. But hey, it's another chapter in the can, ready for Thursday night shenanigans! And tomorrow I can move onto Chapter 14, clean that up, get that ready for next week, and be done with "In The Land of the Dead!" :D It's been a fun ride, and I really do enjoy Lizzie and Bonejangles together, but still -- I'm suffering Valice withdrawal a bit. Time to get back to my mains.
Also completed a bunch of other things today:
-->Watched all of Helloween's current vids -- another set of F.E.A.R. (with more party body hilarity, plus a skeleton-making gun) and two sets of Haunting Ground (Helloween has finally gotten the first stalker to leave him alone, but the second has already popped up, and she has a nasty piece of glass. Fortunately Hells is getting at least a little better at this whole 'evasion' thing, so. . .) First was hilarious as always, second is good both for the comedy of Helloween and interestingness of the game itself. I find myself hoping he plays a Clock Tower game at some point, I hear they're in the same sort of vibe.
-->Also caught up with Fun With Shorts (a goofy cartoon about the stock market) and LGR's Sim Earth review (following the rise and fall of the bird-people of Planet Nukem). Good stuff.
-->Hatched my Nebula and Bubble dragons in DragonVale today, and proceeded to get the new Molten hybrid earlier this evening! :D So I think that means all I'm missing is the Barite Crystalline. . .Oooooh, so close, so close. . .
-->Had another driving lesson, this time with Mom -- practicing staying on the right side of the "street" and making turns at some sort of speed. I was naturally a little nervous when it came to the gas pedal today, but I did fine. We even did some parking practice, and somehow I managed to actually get in the spots correctly. I think for now I need to stop and take a moment to make sure I know what I'm doing before I aim between the lines. We'll see how it goes tomorrow.
-->Played Sims 4, with Marty and Jennifer. They had Emmett over for some cards and selfies, and Marty proposed! Which Jennifer very eagerly accepted. Time to plan another wedding! :)
-->Watched the beginning of Halloween Wars! I'm a little iffy on this season -- we have a new goofy host, and none of the display pieces have been real stand-outs yet. Mostly they're just kinda average. Also, I wasn't really impressed with the theme for the first small scare. . . But it's not the train wreck season -- three? four? The one with the clowns at the end -- was either, so far. And I think I've become resigned to the fact we're never going to have a season with truly awesome people like the first. Meh.
-->Completed tumblr queues for both personal and Forgotten Vows, so that's all set.
So yeah, not bad. And it looks like we're NOT going to be hit with a hurricane this week, so the 5K Wellness Walk at my work (which was postponed from last Friday because of bad weather) may in fact be on! Which means I get what amounts to a day off with lunch included. Nice. :P
Right now, though, I ought to hit the sheets. Night all!
