Surprisingly Nice Day Out
Oct. 3rd, 2016 11:06 pmWeather-wise, anyway -- actually got up to 71! After the streak of mid to low sixties for a high, it was a welcome change. Went out for a walk at lunch and enjoyed the sunshine. Good stuff.
Rest of the day was kind of on the "meh" side -- most of my day was spent working on someone's CAP data, which is never that interesting but at least passes the time. My parents had a shitty day with a program that was just not working right in their computers, so we ended up skipping the driving lesson so Dad could take a break and unfrazzle. We also watched the Halloween Baking Championship on Food Network, but -- so far, I'm not impressed. Jeff Dunham isn't being particularly funny (in fact, he's barely used), and the bakers. . .eeeeeeh. I'm not sure I'll bother with the second episode.
And now I'm doing last minute late-night catch up, as you do -- Butterfly Boy's queue is set, happily, and I've answered all the comments, I think. Just a PM or two and I'll be set. I leave you on this this surprisingly adorable picture of Victor and Alice from Chapter 10 of "Forgetting You,", having just survived the fire at the Mermaid. Night!
