Slightly Less Rushed Tonight
Nov. 3rd, 2016 11:05 pmWhich is good, because I had a rather stressful day at work today (more maintenance stuff, only we're under deadline and we found out one file had been saved the wrong way so there's a lot of stuff to correct). Some more bullet points for you:
-->Day was not NEARLY as nice as advertised -- it only got proper warm near the end of the day. I attempted to take a walk at lunch, but was driven back inside after ten minutes by some chilly breezes and general gloomy weather. Meh.
-->Another drive around the neighborhoods and by the beaches for my lesson today -- did well again! Drifted a little, had a wide turn, but nothing life-threatening. Starting to get comfortable behind the wheel again. It's just a matter of getting down all the various timings and such.
-->Whitbee's Candy Bash is in the "it's all over except for the candy-spending" part -- except that, in a strange twist, I had enough candy to buy every available prize. (Plus I still have just under 1,500 left over!) Which means the only thing I'm missing is a Nightbloom egg pedestal, and with Bring 'Em Back on its way, well. . . Kinda cool -- and nice to have a second Spooky habitat! I needed one. Especially with two new fire hybrids to grab. . .
-->Started editing Chapter 4 of "Remembering You" today -- this one covers the return of Dr. Wilson and Victoria to the verse. It's looking super-long at the moment, and may be split into two chapters -- we'll see how the editing goes.
-->Did queue for Forgotten Vows -- tumblr has tried to break my preferred style of reblog again, but the xkit people are on it and there's a weirdly easy fix for the nonsense that keeps my RP threads alive. So yay there.
And now I should head off, since I'm not scrambling to answer five million things for a change. Night all!
