The "irritating" came in when the driver (whom I believe was new) just completely blew past the exit he was supposed to take to get to the first park and ride -- and then proceeded to take another WRONG exit to get off the highway. We might have been going the long way around URI if somebody hadn't told him how to turn around and get back on track. And then he started going really fast during the last part of the trip -- I've had drivers who sped before but this was the first time I really felt in DANGER. Guy even blew through a red light! (Yeah, I know, the learner driver who did that last week has no room to talk. . .) Not a fun way to get home, let me tell you. At least my drive from the parking lot to the house went well -- I even pulled into the driveway with little issue. Yay there.
So, happily, I have survived another day to bring you another chapter of "Remembering You!" This one's so far the longest -- I considered snapping it in two, but there wasn't really any good cut-off points. *shrugs* But yeah, Nell and William are back, and Victor isn't precisely happy to see them. . . You can read it on FF.net, on AO3, or on my website. As a bonus, I also put up Day 4 of "A Week of Secundus Christmas" on the latter -- take a walk down memory lane if you like. Between that, a fairly short queue on Forgotten, and already having my DW stuff drafted out, I'm pretty much all caught up. Time to take care of a final message and hit the sack at a decent hour.
