It is forever going to amuse me that those two events took place on the same day, thus permanently linking two of my favorite fandoms. Such a shame that Corpse Bride has no specific dates associated with it. . .and that I'd already decided on it taking place in January for my fanfiction. Ah well. Two out of three ain't bad.
It's been kind of a lazy Sunday for me -- no driving (neither Mom and I had any clue where we could go, and I think I'm allowed one break day), and a lot of distracted reading of old fic stuff. I did, however, get a crash course in doing laundry and using our new dryer! (Dad got that installed yesterday.) Said crash course involved washing and drying all my stuffed animals that could go in those machines, so they're smelling and looking better now. Same with my sheets, pajamas, and bathrobe. So that was good, at least. One more check on the "independent human being" checklist.
Writing-wise, I kept to my schedule and did "Secundus 2" -- outlined some of the changes that have happened to Victor and Alice in the two-year gap between the original story and the sequel, introduced their dog Lightning, and got Victoria, Christopher, and Emily over to talk with them. :) That's going good so far -- I'm hoping it stays that way.
YouTube-wise, I'm all caught up on Helloween's stuff -- he actually managed to advance the plot of The Evil Within 2, and narrowly avoided dying many, many times. Also came across a mysterious plank of wood that he cannot break despite all logic -- the comments say this is a Plot-Related thing, so I guess we'll come back to that. I'm sure he will hilariously bitch about it. XD I've also emptied out my Watch Later queue again, and even watched a couple more 60 Seconds challenge videos from Jay. Good times, good times~
Video-game wise, Origin is still being an asshole, so no Sims 4. >( Like I said, I have some pictures for an update, but it annoys me. I think I might have to uninstall and reinstall Origin to get it to work -- hopefully I can do that without affecting my games! *will have to make backups this Friday* I did play BioShock, though! Olympus Heights is kind of a bastard and I died a LOT. Not even to Big Daddies -- just to security devices and splicers! Ugh. . .at least in the area I died the most in, there was a Vita Chamber right there, so I didn't have to reload constantly. I eventually got all my goodies, killed Sander Cohen so I could use his weapon upgrade station (and took a picture of his corpse, because delicious irony), and got the plot thing that stopped Fontaine from slowly killing me but has currently made my Plasmids go haywire. On the plus side, I get to use Plasmids I never actually got, plus the fully-upgraded versions of some of the ones I do have. Now I just have to find dose 2 of the plot stuff so I can get my Plasmids back under my control. . . And finally kill a couple of Big Daddies and save some Little Sisters now that I have all my health back. I can finally unlock the last of my tonic slots, and I'm looking forward to upgrading my kit.
And -- well, I need to get on the actual RP queuing thing on tumblr. Should do that now, honestly. . . So yeah. Night all! Hope your Guy Fawkes Day (because it's that too) was good!
