Accomplishment Tuesday
Aug. 21st, 2018 11:34 pmI got that one parish's credit card stuff done! At freaking last! Now I don't have to worry about THAT floating around while we're switching over to the new system. Yay. *breathes sigh of relief* I've still got some imports to do, and I have to get some stuff sorted for the auditors tomorrow (mostly tracking down paperwork for certain gifts they've highlighted -- literally, in an Excel workbook), but that is definitely a load off my mind. Makes me feel better about life.
Other things of note:
-->Got in my walks again -- been enjoying this nice weather! Good to have it not so hot and humid you're compelled to hide in the air conditioning. Tomorrow's supposed to thunderstorm, though. . .ah well, at least I got some fresh air in.
-->Managed to get two pages worth of editing done on Chapter 5 of "Fixing You" -- the mob has gathered, and Victor and Alice are facing it down. Seems like it's going to take a bit for this group to break up, though.
-->Got my four-part mega-update for Newcrest Adventures set up over on tumblr -- hopefully people will enjoy it! Also did my queue over on ValiceMultiverse -- getting slowly but surely back into the groove on that too.
-->Watched an OXBox video on worst arenas for fights in fighting games (in the sense of "you really shouldn't fight in that location," not "these stages suck." Notably, Mortal Kombat literally sends combatants to Hell! Though I guess, given the series, that's not much of a surprise. And Dracula's Castle from Castlevania is appearing in the new Smash Bros, it appears -- that should be interesting); a couple of silly Sims videos (RTGamer tried to get a "Thanos" Sim to kill half the population of a world -- not only did the people survive, THANOS HIMSELF died in a pool drowning XD And I found the start of Jim Pickens's club cult on Call Me Kevin's channel -- includes him influencing an alien and Vlad to date and get married); and the latest Atop The Fourth Wall (the Tandy Computer Whiz Kids return in a story about the importance of recycling! Which doesn't feature constant fawning over computers? And is at least semi-interesting?? O.o).
And -- yeah, that's kind of about it for now. It wasn't a very exciting day, which I'm fine with. And I'm quite tired, so I should really get to bed sooner rather than later. . . Night all! Hopefully tomorrow goes well too!
