crossover_chick: Doc in goggles and holding a big old plug with the words "feeling sparky..." (BTTF: feeling sparky/creative)
Yeah, my parents went out antiquing for basically the entire day -- came back with a few interesting bottles and a postcard with a zeppelin on it (my dad likes zeppelins). So I had the place to myself! Did that lead to increased productivity?

. . .Given that I spent pretty much the entire morning reading through the Doom (2016) TV Tropes page, not really. ^^; I didn't expect it to be as LONG as it is. Good stuff, though. Anyway, let's see how I did on the remainder of my list:

-->Celebrating another Sim City Founding with Emmett and Nikal in Sims 4 -- Managed to fully complete the holiday too! Mostly because they lucked out and it wasn't off-and-on raining all day, like it was when the Van Dorts celebrated it. They had a water balloon fight, went skating, made some friends at the picnic area by their house, and hit the Windenburg Island Bluffs for a dance party and fireworks! Pretty awesome time, all things considered. :) Damn, I wish it was closer to summer now. . . At least my Sims can enjoy better weather!

-->Starting Chapter 15 of "Fixing You" -- Done and done! Well, done and "I may want to tweak this a little more" -- I'm not ENTIRELY happy with the beginning. But it's coming along, and I look forward to diving into boss fight #2. :P Especially now that I've given myself more weapon variety.

-->Clearing out some of my Watch Later queue on YouTube -- I'm calling this done as I said "some" -- there's ONE video left that I just ran out of time to watch this evening. But I covered:

A) A "Blockbuster Buster" review of Justice League that happened to have Linkara in it -- I arrived at the tail end of a storyline bit, so I'm not entirely sure what was going on there, but the movie review itself was solid. Even if the movie was bad. So very bad.

B) A video of someone playing The Sims 1 for nostalgia purposes -- I relate so much. Also watched a video from the same person about things she DOESN'T want in The Sims 4 in 2019, most of which I agreed with (cars, major changes to CAS, a pre-teen life stage. . .my major source of disagreement is that she wants a university pack and something to do with a beach world before more supernaturals, and I want my magic-using Sims back now, darn it)

C) Helloween's latest set of Resident Evil 2 REmake -- Claire has finished her adventures in the sewers, knocked William Burkin down another pit (after, uh, accidentally knocking HERSELF down the pit -- whoops), rescued Sherry, and brought her to Umbrella Labs in hopes of finding her the antiviral agent she needs to stop going G-Virus zombie. This has involved quite a few jump scares from annoyingly stealthy zombies and the discovery of plant-based gribblers that are sure to give her a hard time. Good thing she has a grenade launcher!

D) The Sim Supply's latest "Super Sim" set -- Max Power has successfully done a Gold-level commercial, and made his way up to Global Superstar status through donating violins, selling violins at an impulse-purchased retail store, and summoning 107 grilled cheese sandwiches (available if you've completed the Grilled Cheese Aspiration, which Max has -- it gets you a TINY amount of fame, but James was SUPER close to being a Global Superstar anyway and wanted to get the last bit that way, for science)

E) James also looking at a bunch of cool builds he found on the gallery, including a base-game modern Asian home and a recreation of the Krusty Krab from Spongebob Squarepants! All very nice -- I gotta download more nice houses from the gallery. I don't use it a lot.

-->Usual queuing on tumblr (plus I want to change my theme for Valice Multiverse) -- just completed the former for both accounts, and the latter for Valice Multiverse. I had to change the theme AGAIN for that one last night after looking at the theme I was using and realizing I couldn't see any of my text posts properly. *grumble* Accessible my ass. . .so I found a new one, but that one doesn't have any automatic link slots. . .so I took a bit of time to edit them into the sidebar. It'll work for now, and I'm guaranteed that my link to the Pern Crash write-up will be readable. (And oh CHRIST getting that Magical Monday post sorted took FOREVER -- I'd forgotten I'd WRITTEN so much for Pern Crash! Yikes. . .)

-->Making Valicetines -- I took the pictures for that one I wanted to do with my toys, but I've run into a problem where I can't e-mail them to myself to get them onto my PC. And connecting my iPad to my computer didn't do squat -- I even tried backing up my iPad to my computer via iTunes, and then couldn't find where the back-up lived. *grumble* I think I'm going to have to install iCloud on my computer so I can get them over that way. Who knew making some silly Valicetines would be so much hassle. . .

-->Usual roleplay stuff -- getting to that now. Time to empty out the inbox and hit the sheets. Work tomorrow, yaaay~ *sigh* Ah well, at least today was mostly good. Pretty relaxing overall, honestly. Can't ask for much else out of a Sunday. Except for better time management, but I didn't expect some of the troubles I ran into. . . *shakehead* Anyway. Night!
