crossover_chick: Doc in goggles and holding a big old plug with the words "feeling sparky..." (BTTF: feeling sparky/creative)
Reporting on various problems, trying to clear up other problems, working my way through returns, trying to figure out what else has or hasn't been done. . . Also, with the GFGP people moving in to help us with the upcoming Appeal, there was a lot of commotion and boxes being moved and -- basically, it was just a busy day over there. Suppose it made the day go by, but still -- I worry what the rest of January is going to be like if we're already getting to this state. . .

Ah well -- I've dealt with it before, and I can deal with it again. Just not my favorite time of year. . .made it through and home okay, though, and had a pretty decent evening, all things considered:

-->Caught up on the latest Sims 4 news, which is -- a new stuff pack announcement! Yup, we are getting a Tiny Living Stuff Pack, which has a new residential lot type where you can only build on 100 tiles worth of space, but you get bonuses like extra comfort, relationship gains, and cheaper bills. Also there's stuff like Murphy beds and TV/bookcase/stereo combos. I'm not into the tiny houses myself -- I don't want a mansion, but I do like space -- but some of the items look nice, so I might pick this up just for those. Maybe wait until I can get a bundle, though. . .

-->YouTube, naturally, ended up revolving around Sims as a result. In addition to the trailer, I watched:

A) The latest "Rags To Enrichment" episode from James Turner -- though it may in fact be "Grads to Riches" soon, as James feels like we've moved on from University-specific content to just trying to make money. This episode was mostly about trying to make sure Bob, Trash, and their roommates actually had everything they needed to survive, including having Trash go out and try to swipe some items to either sell or use in the house. Ended with a house renovation after Bob managed to pick up another promotion at work -- now there's a little more space, multiple bathrooms, and even an attempt at a proper living area! One day we will see this place look like a REAL house. . .one day. (Also, learned why it's taken so long to get this next episode -- James started off the New Year by getting sick, poor guy! And I can't imagine the current situation in Australia helps either. . .)

B) James's reaction video to the new trailer -- which he did at 3 AM, his time. Dude, go to sleep, you're still recovering. XD But he was into the whole "tiny living" thing, and seemed pretty excited about the new items, including the Murphy bed that actually doubles as a settee! So that was cool. :)

C) Plumbella's reaction video to the new trailer -- along with a confession that she saw the pack and even offered feedback on it at Sims Camp last November. Girl, KUDOS for keeping that under your cap! She too is eager to dive into the Tiny Living life, and if nothing else I'm curious to see what kinds of builds she and everyone else produce with this pack.

D) Plumbella attempting a 10-minute 8-Sim house build -- and uh, failing miserably because she got wrapped up in how she was going to roof the monstrosity she built. XD Poor girl went full on panic babble mode as she tried to save it. She managed to fling in a kitchen and the beginnings of a living room, at least? And it's up on the gallery if anyone wants to take it and make it better. :p

-->Did another chunk of edits on "Secundus 2" Chapter 3 -- we have progressed to the point where Gordon Tannen stupidly starts calling Victor out on what he thinks is bullshit (namely, that Victor's actually managed to have a better life than him and is now a mad scientist to boot), and gets a lesson in what it means to piss off a Touched. Unfortunately, now Victor's going to have a guilt attack when he realizes he's scared everyone else in the room too. . . Ah well, that's all part of the plot, so. . .

-->Got my queues done on tumblr -- Victor Luvs Alice's Newcrest Adventures update (four posts of my Sims mostly painting and updating their house XD), and Valice Multiverse's usual collection of asks.

And now it's time to answer the comments in my inbox and head to bed -- not quite halfway through the week yet. Though I MAY have a slightly shorter day tomorrow -- it is currently snowing outside, and we're expecting some minor accumulation. We'll see what happens. For now, g'night!
